D&S SPECIALTY PRODUCTS, the parent company of BirdBusters and Fly-Bye Bird Control Products was established in 1987. The company started as a one-man operation and quickly grew to a thriving, family run business. We have kept up that momentum since the beginning, now we are a full service bird and pest control manufacturer and distributor, employing the best technical and support sales staff around.
Overhead wire systems are used to prevent Seagulls from being able to comfortably land or take off. Using a specially designed post, our technicians are able to create an effective wire system without putting holes in the roof, therefore keeping the roof warranty intact. The system may also be painted to match the surrounding structure to limit the visibility of the system from the ground.
You wouldn't take your car problems to a veterinarian, so why take your bird control problem to a pest control professional that doesn't specialize in bird control? It is important to make sure that the company you contract to take care of your bird control needs has a team that will take care of your problem right the first time.
Northern Flicker - Flickers are a brown bird with black spots that are prominent on both the underside and top. The underside of the bird is usually a lighter tan than the top of the bird. The male will have a red or yellow patch near the throat while the female is all brown. The red crested is the most common of the Flickers.
Due to the high sensitivity of machines and vehicles used by the government, many facilities have need for bird control services. These services can range anywhere from Pigeon control and Seagull control to clean up of hazardous bird droppings. Finding the most effective means of preventing pest birds of any size from accessing warehouses, roof ledges, or parking structures is BirdBusters area of expertise.

I'm giving Bird Busters two stars, unfortunately, because my interactions with them started out great and ended poorly.
Some of their employees are very competent and know their birds. Not true for all of them, however. It was difficult to get an appointment scheduled accurately - the office repeatedly got their dates wrong and asked me to reschedule which was a hassle. Others acted very unprofessionally, yelling at me over the phone and arguing with me about how they run their business. While I was following the precedent they had set prior regarding when and who I gave my credit card information

Came out exactly when they said they would, were super friendly and hard working. Got the job done quickly and price lined up exactly with what they quoted. In 1 hour, my 2 year bird problem was eliminated! They also put preventive care that comes with a 3 year warranty! Best in the business, cant believe how positive this experience was. For any and all bird removal issues, call Bird Busters!

After two years of not being able to use our condo rooftop patio due to seagulls nesting we hired Bird Busters. If you have a seagull problem do not hire this company. At a huge expense they came out and placed wires to prevent the gulls from roasting. The gulls came back. Their 3 year warranty was worthless plus additional charges. Call the US Dept of Agriculture Wildlife Services at 360-337-2778. Seagulls are protected birds. They know how to deal with seagulls.

I am not impressed with Bird Busters. We had them come out to fix a bird problem from a hole in our house and clean the area. We paid $275 to have mesh put over one hole and the area "cleaned". 1 month later the birds are back. I feel we paid a lot of money to have one teeny spot of our house bird proofed and they did nothing to inform us on how to prevent birds from returning. Very expensive for a temporary fix.

Great companies are build on so much more than product know-how. The truly impressive ones are built on a true and genuine customer experience - in the case of Bird Busters, that is just what we go, and it was amazing. From the initial call to paying the bill, every step was flawless - Laurie (in the office) lead with the way with a rare sense of customer care. A job well done!

This is an update to an earlier review. We had nearly given up on Bird Busters after having waited half a year for them to begin any work. We had to call every week or so to see when we would be serviced, but they finally came through. The birds and their attendant mess is gone. It's too early to give a long-term review, but they appear to have done their work well. No more pigeons in our vents!
The team who worked on our building seemed to know their job. The quality of the work seems good, and the results were immediately noticeable. They earned this positive follow-up.

UPDATE: I had to drop down to 3 stars due to findings from three other companies.
I bought my house in March and the inspector had noted at least one nest in February. I wasn't aware at the time, due to me being somewhat new to the area, that Starlings like to begin hunting for breeding grounds right around February. The previous owners were not keeping up the home very well, so I inherited their problem, and money got tight. The chirping got unbearable, so in May I called Northwest Nuisance Pest Control, who referred me to Bird Busters.

I've had a bird problem in my microwave vent for a year, the birds have since gone; but now I needed to find a way to clean out the vent. I just got off the phone with your company and you were very helpful and gave me the name of your recommended company to call for specialty vent cleaning. This is very much appreciated.
I'm also a small business service owner and know its hard to find good companies to work with...and can appreciate your professionalism.
Thank you for a great experience.
