After graduating from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2003 with a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering I began working as a commercial sales engineer designing and selling Carrier air conditioning equipment. When we discovered our Carrier A/C had stopped working, we phoned Air Authority and they (Rose) set us up with a priority appointment. The Technician, Juan, contacted us before he came over and when he showed up he performed a visual examination and a complete testing of our unit. Air Authority’s team is friendly and knowledgeable. This team responds the same day and their technicians are courteous and punctual. Jerry did a great job explaining our issue and provided some tips for the future. Our home insurance company has sent other companies out with extended wait days and incomplete work. Just a few days ago. Called in house thermostat was showing 78 degrees and rising even after reset, with no flow through cents but system running. Robert, showed up within 20-40 mins from call time. San Antonio, TX gets really muggy and hot, so being so prompt was important. Air Authority has been awesome, from simple to complex as well warranties they offer. Thanks Air Authority.

Once again, Air Authority saves the day! A year ago I called AA for a leak from my A/C...they were here within an hour and fixed the issue. Today, I called because there was a problem with my parents a/c. The a/c has been out since Saturday...2 straight 104+ degree days! Within an hour, they were at my parent's home and Greg had the air working within 30 minutes. Another company has given them the run around for 2 days! Did I mention it was an after hour service call? They were still there within an hour and fixed the issue! Thank you AA and Greg for taking care of my parents!!!!

The technician told me I needed a "transformer." He knew I was desperate because of the cold weather. The cost of the transformer alone was $375. I found it online for $25.95 and that is a sale to the general public. The company says in an email that they post their prices on the website. I have a long chat whereby the rep admits there are no prices on the website. Again, do your homework before allowing this company do to ANY work for you.

Our technician was prompt, courteous, and spent way longer than I expected on the inspection. The air conditioner was working fine but they found several problems. They told us the air conditioner was going to break, and very soon. We were a little skeptical.
They were right, the a/c stopped working two weeks later, just after closing. Thanks to their report, we were able to negotiate a $5k credit from the home seller for its replacement.
Naturally, we chose Air Authority for the replacement

Had a great experience with these guys a few years ago work on a split system when no one else wanted to touch it. I called them back to put in a new unit and the price was very fair and the entire job was done the very next day. They put the entire new unit in, pulled the other out and cleaned up like pros. I purchased an older home and hired AA to check out the heating/AC units. They responded quickly to my request and the technician was very professional and knowledgable. He took the time to review the unit's operation and maintenance schedule. A few months later, my AC malfunctioned. I called AA and within 24 hours they sent two technicians who inspected the unit, fixed the problem (which turned out to be minor) and also took the time to explain what had happened and how to prevent it in the future. They take pictures of the area before and after they work and email them attached to your invoice, so there is zero doubt of what was done.
