After brothers Dale and Darryl McLelland spent several years learning the roofing trade with other successful companies in the spring of 1995 the time felt right to work together and start their own roofing business. After speaking with the retired owners of the former Conover Roofing and Sheet Metal company they decided to start in Conover, NC in their old building and serve some of the customers that they had helped in the past.

Allow their waste trucks to drive around with unsecured loads going at speed on the Interstate Highway system.
Sections of shingles, being fairly flat, can achieve lift with very little effort. So the shingle sections, probably containing nails, fly all over the interstate, hitting cars, landing on the pavement and creating general havoc.
