I contacted this company by phone on July 21, 2021 and spoke to John a kind sounding man who was busy at the time.I asked for an August 14th move date with a truck and was quoted $150 for 20ft truck and $150 per hour with a 4 hour minimum. My total was supposed to be $750. I was asked to text my email over for the contract, which I did on the same day. That evening I was asked for my move date and email address again.
July 22nd first thing in the morning I provided my information a 2nd time

I have moved a lot in my life and I have experienced many large and small moving companies. From beginning to end I was pleased with their service. The owner John is very responsive and super friendly. They were available with less than a weeks notice, and I was unsure two men would be enough to move two residences but I was wrong! They were super fast and straight to business. They didn't try to stall and get another hour out of it. They have all the proper materials to keep your furniture safe and didn't charge me a materials fee which I was grateful for. I was really stressed about

If I could leave zero stars I would. Beware of this company, they are unreliable and unprofessional.
My husband contacted John on April 25 to schedule a move for June 5 at 9am. We reserved via text message and John confirmed the meet time at 7:30am on June 5. All communication was done through text where we received the quote for two hours. We thought we were all set.

As long as you don't care whether anybody ever shows up, go ahead and hire this company. I contacted the owner John to schedule my move after I had already had movers the previous day not show up from another company. He was aware of the situation and he assured me that they would be there, sent me a contract detailing the terms of the move, which I completed and returned. Movers were scheduled for 7:30 am the next morning. No movers ever showed up. They said they are going out of business and that I am glad to hear! They damaged my property and floor while moving. Said they were going to pay for it and did not. They also said they would move something else to make up for it and did not. I have several text messages saying they would take care of it and never did. Needless to say I am suing them now to get my floor and property fixed. Of course they said they have a lawyer, but would not give that info or their address. Horrible service. Not trustworthy. And very unethical. Do not use their service or you will be sorry!

I made the moving arrangements for my daughter who is located out of state. She is by herself and needed some muscle for the 'big' stuff. I was concerned about sending men to her place but I felt at ease when John handled my call. He was friendly, polite and very professional. Because of COVID19 & being at high risk of complications we've been staying home to avoid exposure. My refrigerator started going out and I started to panic. I found a used refrigerator in town that I was interested in but they couldn't deliver it. So then I tried getting creative and looking for a moving service to help me out. I called MINDFUL MOVERS and explained that I needed a no exposure, no contact delivery. I was able to pay by app, and we spoke on the phone to explain where I would like the refrigerator left. These guys are AWESOME! This was my first time using Mindful Movers. They took care of my move super last minute. They gave me a really fair price and we're very careful with my stuff. I called this company on a Thursday to get a quote for a move on a Saturday 9 days out. I spoke to the owner who said he would email me a form to complete. I completed the form, text confirmed he received it and also sent him a sheet showing everything I needed moved. Which was produced by our last moving company. Our stuff is packaged and ready to go as it is in storage.
Sadly, I never heard back from the company. No email or response to several texts. I would never trust a company to show up if they can't even return inquiries.

I hate to give a 1 star rating. My experience started out great in the beginning. John was extremely professional, polite and friendly over the phone when I called to book their moving service on a Wednesday, 8 days prior to our large office move. He even came out the following day to take a site tour and view all the office furniture we needed to move. We emailed and texted about move details but the last time I heard from him was that same afternoon. He promised a contract would be emailed to me by Friday but it never came. I'll start out by saying I was not an easy customer to work with. Over the last 10 years I've moved 8 times to 3 different states from the east coast to the west coast. I've worked with a lot of movers who were unsatisfactory & I'm jaded. Suffice it to say I was pretty defensive with John & was nitpicking with contract details.
He was patient with me & still kept me as a customer; I would have probably let me go though. He did his best to reassure me that everything would go as planned. Even going so far as to coming out to my house to sign the contract.

The owner contacted us the day before to let us know that he was ill and in the hospital, but that they would be able to make the appointment the following day. We were then contacted the following day and asked if we could push the appointment back later in the day. We were then contacted to let us know that they could not show up.
We asked why the employee's couldn't show up on their own without him, but he said he wasn't comfortable with that.

Excellent job moving within fresno house to house. John is professional and easy to work with. Loved - the uniforms and positive attitudes, care taken wrapping furniture, and the ability to completely stuff a 26 foot uhaul with all my items, including an ungodly amount of houseplants and a small tree. After starting to unpack no major damage noted - one small scratch on a MDF dresser which is expected. Only negative - they are so careful with your stuff (and I think did some Tetris to fit all of my items in the truck) that it did take longer than other moves I've had with similar volume.
