TPO stands for Thermoplastic Olefin/Polyolefin, and it is a type of plastic sheeting that reacts to temperature, hardening as temperatures drop and softening as it warms up. This is advantageous because it can withstand weathering better than traditional plastic or rubber sheeting used in roofing. Known as a "roofing membrane, " this type of roofing material is applied in one layer known as one ply.
Metal roofing generally consists of roofing tiles or sheets made from galvanized steel coated with zinc or polymer coatings, though some commercial metal roofing materials include aluminium, copper, and tin. There are also many coatings available for metal roofing materials that add additional protection against UV rays, rust, and weather as well as providing endless color and finish options.
First of all, instead of a type of roofing material, an elastomeric coating is a seal that can be applied to many different roofing materials that seals and protects the roof. Called elastomeric because they move and stretch like elastic, these coatings are used to seal or stop leaks, inhibit weathering, provide heat resistance, or further protect the roof from UV rays.

Having bought a house during the pandemic, we were really struggling to find a roofer we could trust that was also a good value. We found All Area Roofing via a recommendation and were very happy with the result. They were quick to respond, give an estimate, and also finished the project on our timeline. The only feedback I'd give is to make sure the team doing the work polices the area well - roofing nails, cigarettes, garbage, chicken bones were left around the house multiple days. But overall the work was good and they were efficient in getting things done. Would recommend.

This was an absolutely wonderful company to deal with. Kendall was my first contact and he was so efficient and polite. I'm a senior citizen and had lots of questions, he took his time to make sure I understood each step. He also ask if he could talk to one of my children, just to inform them of the large purchase I was making. I took it as a person watching out for me. Faith in the office was a delight to work with as well. She was always willig to answer questions and kept me informed during the whole process.

Frankly, nothing but good things to say about this team; everyone has been top notch. Special shout-out to Kendall; he's taken care of my needs from start to finish. It's my first time using this company, but so far I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
Update: The initial review was for a roof repair to get me through close. Once that was complete, I decided that I needed to just bite the bullet and get a new steel roof installed. Kendall and the All Area team did it again; I love my new roof and feel like I got quality work for a fair price.

I contacted a lot of roofing companies for estimates and All Area Roofing Ft. Pierce was amazing.
From our first meeting at my home Jeremy was great! He was friendly and fast and knew what he was doing when he estimated my roof. I had my estimates from All Area the very next day after Jermey came, as apposed to weeks with others, During the process of the install he even took time on a weekend AFTER HOURS to contact me and put my concern to rest about a some strapping to be done. Thank you Jeremy!
