We work exclusively with the finest Appalachian hardwoods. Call us at 215-262-7830 to learn more. Our favorites are cherry and maple, as both are a pleasure to work with and are endowed with spectacular grains. When freshly cut, cherry is muted beige, but within a few months it ages into a rich cinnamon.
Maple darkens only slightly from its original blond. Tiger maple comes with natural beige and platinum stripes, and Birdseye maple is doted with an astonishing pattern of swirls, curls and spots. We finish our furniture with a matte catalyzed lacquer to keep it as tough as possible against the inevitable nicks, scratches and dents that are part of daily life.Alternative wood types include birch, ebony and walnut, which darkens even more than cherry. We'll provide you with whatever wood type or combination you prefer.

Services
The client's satisfaction is the number one priority in the custom furniture business and Kevin's pieces have a proven track record in pleasing clients. All too often, while we appreciate the work someone may have done for us, we don't stop and acknowledge that work. I have been meaning to write you a note of appreciation ever since the day we took delivery of the dresser.
We are always glad to build custom pieces, whether matching designs in our own collections or reproducing a photo, drawing, or idea. Always keep in mind that we are happy to modify the size or wood of anything you see on this web site. Our finish is a matte catalyzed lacquer to keep each piece as tough as possible against the inevitable nicks, scratches and dents that are part of daily life.
Nothing can rival American Shaker design furniture for its clean, spare lines. The Kevin Kopil Classic series pays homage to this fine tradition. Unlike the Shakers, however, we delight in idle pleasure and treasure our creature comforts. So to lend our collection a little warmth and spirit, we have added delicate contours and tapered the arms and legs.
This series was inspired by the work of Frank Lloyd Wright at the turn of the century. His Arts & Crafts aesthetic evolved at a time when the Industrial Revolution was just around the corner. Uncertainly was in the air, and people longed for solid, honest, no-frills furniture built by human hands, not machines.
In the Glasgow Collection the wood grain springs to life, revealed by wonderfully restrained geometric lines. The design came after a visit to MOMA, in New York, where the historic furniture of Scottish architect/artist Charles Rennie Mackintosh is displayed. Our Collection reflects the combined expression of the modern with a love for tradition.

His work is average. He did a custom bed for my kids room and a murphy bed. He had a lot of issues in completing the project & ultimatley ended up taking on more than he could deliver with other clients (so i know this was not an issue that he had only with us), He was very unprofessional in his conduct and it was an ordeal trying to get him to complete our project to our satisfaction. I would not recommend his work.

Pros:
Keen to take on a project and will work with you at the outset to define and accommodate your perception of what you plan to do. His bid for a project is quite competitive. Will try his best to overcome obstacles that arise, though best in this case doesn't mean acceptable - read below. Good quality of individual items, IF he takes the time and pays the necessary attention.
Cons:
Lack of attention to detail, unable to deliver high end result without multiple attempts and mistakes. Very limited financial and staff capacity, which means that the customer will bear the cost and inconvenience
