This company is ridiculously shady. Don't use them!
I have several complaints about this company starting with their lack and refusal of following the CDC guidelines of at least wearing masks while moving tenants. Secondly, they showed up an hour and a half early to move my apartment, which we had not agreed on. Greg, the manager, or whatever he is, instead of being understanding, raised his voice at me while I was speaking with him on the phone and started swearing at me (super classy). They also increased their charges significantly (charged me DOUBLE of what was originally discussed) telling

DO NOT use this company. They are a scam. They quoted us $400 for a move and then once they had our stuff in their van they doubled their quote. We refused to pay them the second quote and they dumped our stuff on the sidewalk and left. We are filing a complaint with the BBB and the state of NJ about this company. Look elsewhere for movers. This company is a complete scam.

This was my first time hiring Hoboken Movers to move my stuff, and it was definitely well worth it. It is not that much more than renting a truck and equipment yourself, and then you have to recruit people to help and and move all the heavy stuff yourself. These movers were flexible (I changed my pickup location about 2 hrs before the pickup time) and they could do multiple pickups with no extra charge. They also squeezed a very large couch through a tiny door. I really didn't think it would fit. I'd definitely recommend these movers and will probably use them the next time I need

I dont even want to give one star because this was the WORST experience I have ever had moving. Do not even call this company. It's a complete sham. I had to move five items of furniture only and its took them over three hours and I did half the work. They charged me $440. They sent three guys and one sat in the Truck with the AC and the other two guys didn't speak a lick of English and were sow as molasses. I can't imagine if I had boxes to move too - it would have taken them 6 hours. They also ruined a brand new mattress and stratched a brand new dresser bc they dragged it down

I never write reviews but I must save anyone else from going what I went through with a move with Hoboken Movers . DO NOT USE Hoboken Movers - MoversHoboken.com - Michael will answer and tell you it's $285 for 3 hours, 3 men and a truck. $95 for each additional hour. He will tell you you don't need to empty your dresser drawers, etc., because the movers will tape them up and move the dresser with all your belongings in there. He will tell you this price also includes assembling and disassembling of furniture. The morning of my move, the movers were 1 hour early. Michael - a different

This company is not legit, you know the old saying you get what you pay for? well this is them. they promise a low price but then move so slow and tell you about hidden fees and extra money and the guys that showed up to move our stuff were three older russian dudes that were so slow they couldnt get out of their own way. bottom line, DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. Buck up the extra money and get a legit moving comany like united or moishe's etc.

Is "no stars" an option??? The absolute worst experience I have EVER had living in Hoboken for the past 13 years!! They claim it's an hourly rate but BEWARE!! They move 1 box at a time and it was worse than watching paint dry to get them to actually work!! They also won't just wrap in blankets all the typical items other movers wrap. They insist upon using a box and then charge you for it. NO CHOICE!! Tack on at least another $100 dollars of "box" fees!! I will admit my move was to a storage unit about 35 minutes away, however I was told it was a "timed

Do not use this company. I moved from a small apt in Hoboken a few miles north to West New York and it took almost 6 hours. They seemed to have a good hourly rate but now I know why as my previous move took 3 hours. They sent 2 guys and a driver who simply sat in the truck. I had everything packed efficiently in boxes and I thought it would go smoothly but these guys were not moving particularly fast. I also learned that there was a $95 "return to office" fee even though it was only a 10 min drive back to their office. I called the company to discuss this and they assured me that a manager

I would rather give negative points to these movers for making me go through a nighmarish experience.

I found these guys through Hoboken movers. While signing the contract, i was told that usulally my apt can be moved in 3 hours as I was moving just a block away. i had packed everything in boxes so the only work involved was to pack the furniture which was mostly one piece.

First of all they arrived 2 hours late without informing me. 3 skinny school students arrived finally out of which one 1 or 2 would be working at a time. they would vanish for 20-30 mins and I had to go check on them constantly
