We have repeatedly purchased Hanamint patio furniture here for the best price at the Santa Ana store in Orange county. We ended up purchasing two 72 " tables with 12 chairs, a 40" round table with two more chairs and 4 bar stools. We buy the cleaner there to keep our furniture looking new. Be very careful when doing business with this company. I ordered awnings on Feb 16th (middle of winter) from Bob the owner and he promised to have them done within a week. It has been nothing but lies from him telling me every week that they will be done next week, then the next week after that and so on. It is now July 1st and guess what? After 4 1/2 months, he still hasn't started them and now tells me that he should never have accepted the job...

I don't write reviews often but The Patio Place deserves a highlight. Initially, I was reluctant to have them refurbish our old patio furniture because of a handful of bad reviews. However, I read the good ones and decided to call on June 18th and see what they had to say. Bob (one of the owners) picked up the phone. I explained that we needed to repair our old patio furniture, we were looking the change the color scheme, and that we wanted to have everything powder coated to match. That's all standard stuff for patio furniture refurbishing companies however, what wasn't standard

I would think twice about doing business with this company! . We ordered $2500 worth of patio covers from Bob the owner back in February, he told us he would have them finished in a week. We called him several times for an update and he continuously lied to us, about why they weren’t ready saying the parts weren’t in, or didn’t even reply. Fast forward to July, my husband goes to the shop to see the progress in person and even though the parts were in, he has done absolutely nothing and says,” I wish I had never even taken on this job!”

I bought a fire table off Craigslist some time ago and it was hooked up for natural gas. I needed it to hook up to propane, but what I thought would be an easy conversion turned out to be the quest from hell. I went to and called every hardware store, bbq retailer, fireplace retailer, and any other place that might be able to help me with no luck.

Our patio chairs recently started tearing. We have had the set for 15 years and still like it. We came to The Patio Place for refinishing. They had a wide variety of fabrics to choose from. They did a fantastic job! We are very happy with their work. But even better is their customer service. They were polite and respectful. We had a little mishap when we brought one of chairs and they were able to repair the damage so that we could not even tell. I highly recommend The Patio Place!

I was hosting an outdoor party, and one of our dogs had recently destroyed all our outdoor cushions. Having called numerous upholstery shops, none of which could make the cushions in the time frame needed, I was out of my mind and on the verge of canceling the event. The Patio Place deserves a zero! I was impressed when we visited the store the first few times. Steve is extremely knowledgeable and took our order. We spent way more then we had budgeted, but knew we were buying forever furniture and loved the product quality.
We made our purchase in May and Steve told us the furniture would arrive in 3 to 4 weeks.
Hmmmmmm. It didn't come.
We were then promised delivery before the 4th of July. Hmmmmmm. It did NOT come.

A couple of years ago I purchased a patio set (couches). I decided that I needed 1 more. I had great service ordering a similar couch. However, the delivery was problematic. We were very upset. Bob made it right. On his own he offered me back my delivery fee or an option to get my older patio cushions cleaned. I decided to get the cushions cleaned. I was skeptical that they could be cleaned. They came out like new. I am very impressed! So I decided to have my older patio chairs re-powdered coated and welded. We had two Alu Mont chaise lounges that were deteriorating from being in the sun but the backs were in good condition. The Patio Place people said they could replace the sling material so my husband drove them over to their Costa Mesa location. In only 3 working days, we were called that they were finished & could be picked up. They did a great job of matching the material to our four chairs and the chaises were better than new! We recently purchased a Tuscany style patio furniture set from The Patio Place and we love it!! You can tell right away that their products are made of quality materials. They can also custom make everything to your liking! Can't wait to finally be able to host our dinner parties in the garden. I had an amazing experience at Patio Place. Their selection of outdoor furniture is really great along with their fire pits.
I tried several other stores in the area as well, but felt that they only offered a variety of outdated and cheap-looking patio furniture. I ended up finding a beautiful set that was a great price.

After shopping at other patio furniture outlets, my wife and I are incredibly happy to have purchased our patio furniture (dining table, dining chairs, resin wicker cushioned love seat, cushioned side chairs, granite-top propane fire pit, and cantilever umbrella) at The Patio Place! Their prices were very reasonable. Working with the owner, Bob Virdin, and Steve and Michelle was fantastic! They were very patient and unbelievably helpful in guiding us with some great advice. My mother is looking to buy new patio furniture so we decided to check a few spots out this past weekend. We came into The Patio Place and there were actually some nice sets my mom was interested in. None of the workers welcomed us or asked if they could help despite the store being pretty empty of other customers. They just chit chatter behind the counter. I even made eye contact with one and they just looked away and continued with their conversation.
Not a good way to run a business and they lost a 4-5k sale.

Bought a chair from there store and it needed warranty work some 5 years later. They did a great job coordinating the work with the manufacturer. It looks as good as new. Also had the sling on a chase lounge break after years in the sun. This is not a warranty item but they fixed it over night. Less that 12 hours turn around. Very impressive service.
