OK, so last year it was time for a new roof. I interviewed 6 roofing outfits that were recommended to me. Three made my short list. And Steve Allen at STA Enterprises in Big Rock IL was my selection. Good choice. No project goes perfectly smoothly. The test is often how do people respond when the rough spots and surprises occur. Steve, and his work crews for the roofing and gutters did well, and earned four and a half to five stars for each stage of this home project.

When it became obvious that the "organic" roof on our 100+ year-old Sauganash home needed replacing, our excellent carpenter, Dave Meyer of Meyer Builders, recommended STA Enterprises after hearing about some of the estimates we had received from city roofing companies. When he told me where STA was located in Big Rock, I had my doubts that they would be interested in making the trip, but he assured me it would be worth my time. John Elwood presented a bid I could not pass up and the top quality roof replacement started within a week! From start to finish it was obvious that STA knew

With over 20 years experience in the construction industry I always recommend STA to my friends and family above all else. I have found out that they also are capable of doing commercial projects as well. I have sent them to the Bartlett Terrace apartment complex and they did roof and gutter replacement on almost all of their buildings. STA is capable of doing roofs of all types, gutters, windows, siding of any type of material and they also work with new construction builders and additions as a general contractor on a variety of projects. I can't say enough good things about STA Enterprises
