I started Wildcat Moving after graduating from the University of Kentucky's MBA program in June of 2010. I was aware that the big moving companies were taking advantage of the people of Kentucky. Low competition driven by ridiculously complex state permit regulation had created a quasi-monopoly that had been driving up rates for years.
Our movers - Robbie and Chris T were extremely professional, friendly, courteous, and also fast. We paid by the hour and these boys didn't waste any time. They were also very careful, & wanted to place everything just where we wanted it. They even found a long lost favorite remote deep inside of a couch.
We are committed to providing quality service to the community. We believe that being honest and reliable is the recipe for success. While others may seek to profit by cutting corners, or recommending unnecessary services, we believe that a good reputation and consistent service will lead to long-term stable growth.

We have used Wildcat Moving several times over the years to move our children during their college years at UK and had pleasant experiences each time. We used them the week before Christmas to move 3 miles away. They sent 4 trucks & 8 men to move us out of our 7,000 sq ft home. These guys worked hard, but a move this large was a bit much for them. Unfortunately, they ended up not getting everything moved from the old house to the new, so we still have to hire someone to finish that up. (And we had them for around 12 hours.)

Horrific experience, broken and torn furniture, broken contents in boxes.
Sectional sofa ruined, holes poked in upholstery and many pulled places in fabric, sectional pieces would not fit back together correctly, oil stains from moving van floor on edges and corners if fabric. Corner broken off office desk, side table top cracked apart, valuable pampered chef crockery broken, bed rails for bed bent and broken. Chipped paint on woodwork at new home and scraped wall paint in several areas. I would not use or recommend this "service" to anyone.

I was very disappointed in the move and would not recommend Wildcat Moving. They told me that they would send extra dollies, but didn't. I called the office and asked that they send a supervisor, but they didn't. They were marginally better than hiring someone off the street, but not much.
The Wildcat Packers, on the other hand were very professional and hard working. I would recommend them.

I would not recommend the company but the guys I had move me were great. I overheard a conversation with one of the bosses back at the office and I would never treat my employees like how they treat them. One of the fellas need to use the bathroom and was told employees could not use the bathroom at the office. Then after paying for extra insurance on my items to be moved I learned that if one of them damaged anything it came out of their paycheck. That I think is illegal and wrong. I feel bad for those moving guys and hope they don't stay long.

We hired Wildcat to move our condo full of items into a pod. Taylor Y and Sam G showed up on time and did a great job wrapping items and moving them. They were both friendly and polite. We were pleased with their work and would hire Wildcat again. The only thing is that Sam showed up with no mask. He said he would wear one if we wanted him to. We supplied a mask and he complied with no issue.

If I could write them -5 stars I would. I had just purchased a brand new 75 inch 4K television that I had saved and saved for months. Wildcat Mover's literally miss handled my television the internal is completely damage is the only TV I own I've been sitting in my brand new apartment with no TV. We emailed back-and-forth with customer service and they insured full satisfaction and that they would take care of me. Fast forward to four weeks later I get a check for $60. The TV itself was over $500 and brand new. I had just purchased it I was also watching the TV while the movers were moving

Terrible. Did not do what we paid them to do. We paid for help with shrinkwrap and furniture protection, and that was not done. They didn't want to place on mattress covers that we bought. They wore no masks during Covid times. Subcontracted out. I get it, you have other jobs to do later in the day, but do it right, do what we paid for, and don't try to push over the clients. I had to go to the hardware store at my new neighborhood to get screws to stabilize and replace my furniture's loose bolts that were lost in the mess. Order the service and you get a random team, who knows if

Be extremely cautious with this company. They promise no hidden fees, but there were many additional charges that nearly doubled the cost of our services. We hired them for labor only to unload a POD and were charged for full moving services including the use of a 26 foot truck (which we did not use) and a $50 moving fee (again, we just had unloading, no moving services.)
This company was exorbitantly expensive for the Kentucky market. I paid less for 3 movers for packing and loading assistance in Seattle.

We were very excited to partner with Wildcat for the move into our first home. Unfortunately, it was a very unpleasant experience. The two guys took double the amount of time they quoted us at, which caused us to pay way more than budgeted. Because they were taking so long, my husband jumped in to help speed up the process (which defeats the purpose of hiring movers). On top of that, they cracked my dresser and scratched our hard wood floors. When they let us know they did these things one of our movers, was very rude and unapologetic. I had a small job, moving furniture into a pod and a piano to another room. The job was completed in less than an hour and I was charged $700. I had been given a price for much less over the phone. Unfortunately, I did not ask for a written quote. --- The difference was a two hour minimum charge and the requirement for 2 crews to move a piano. I was not told of the minimum but their representative claimed their agents read from a script so I must have been told.
Whatever. Clearly this is not a company to use for a small job.

We used Wildcat Moving after getting a few estimates around town. They were about more expensive than some of the others but based on some of the good reviews here we decided they were the safe choice. We moved most of our house ourselves but needed someone to get 5-6 larger items.
The movers worked at a good pace however they did not use any type of padding for the furniture. This became apparent after they unloaded everything and we saw gouges, scratches, etc on multiple pieces. Wildcat sent a repair person out who was able to do a decent job of patching them. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! - DON'T USE WHEN MOVING OUT OF STATE!!! EVERYTHING IS SUBCONTRACTED AND NO ONE IS TAKING RESPONSIBILITY

Their representative (Dustin) that came out and quoted us was professional, friendly and fast. We felt really good and confident! We used Lady Cats through Wildcat to pack our house and they did a reasonable job. The team loading the truck did a good job but with some major issues... Cords and remotes, hardware /screws/nuts/bolts
