We take the time to carefully discuss all material and installation options, as well as establish all expectations for the finished result. For example, a client may love the look of a tiled backsplash in a kitchen, but not be aware that this comes with added maintenance concerns to keep the grout clean over the years.
When we arrive on site we have a careful way we operate. We know how disrupting it can be to have builders on your property which is why we take great care of your home. For interior renovations we set up fully sealed plastic walls to seperate your live space from our work space. We utilize a high flow HEPA filtration system to manage air quality in both live and work areas.

Alex was an extremely detailed and thorough contractor. He was by far the most adept and professional GC who bid on my project. Unfortunately the COVID19 recession has made me need to approach this project differently, so ultimately I could not move forward, but Alex was my top pick. As an Owner-Builder with previous experience building in the Bay area, I could tell Alex really knew his stuff compared to the competition. He's an extremely nice guy and was very prompt in putting things together. I hope I have the opportunity to work with Alex in the future.

We have lived in our home without a toilet on our first floor for over 20 years! No More. I now have a wonderful half bath.
Alex worked with our architect's design to build a half bath, by breaking through my living room wall into my attached garage, and building a newly imagined space there. Because we were creating an alcove to access this new space, I got the bonus of a new closet. Who doesn't want more closet space!

Beyond Green was selected for a complete rebuild of our basement in ADU. Project started from concrete floors and was managed through to the final details. Alex does great work! He is very meticulous and responsive. As with any project this large, there were a few changes along the way. Pricing and communication around all of the changes was more than fair. I would highly recommend Alex for another project, large or small.

Alex at Beyond Green recently competed a project in our condo to create a bonus room. This entailed constructing 2 new walls, relocating some electrics and installing a set of French doors.

I highly recommended working with Alex--his work exceeded my expectations. We wanted a staircase built to a small storage loft above our kitchen, and to have the loft space extended. He listened to us describe the addition we wanted and what materials and aesthetics we were going for, and turned that into a perfect design. I reached out to Beyond Green Construction for a kitchen remodel for our condo in Bernal Heights. The owner, Alex came over and within a half hour, I was able to tell him what we wanted and what our budget was and he assured us that it could be done... and it was. It came out so great our place was featured in CurbedSF...

Alex was a fantastic to work with. I had designed a tiny (but still large-ish) house for our backyard intending to work with a different contractor on it. That contractor couldn't make time to finish the project and introduced me to Alex. Best introduction, ever! A million crazy plot-twists later (and after spending more time at the office for Oakland building and zoning than i did with my family!), we ended up needing to change that one big house into two smaller structures. Alex is a professional who partners with his clients in a friendly and respectful way. He is extremely honest, hard working, and communicates well.
