I used Parker's Moving for a Friday move and everything was EXCELLENT! Jason stayed in the truck and stacked everything perfectly so there was no damage to anything. He had 2 helpers that really busted their butts moving my stuff. They had to go down a few steps to load the truck and then go up 16 steps to move my stuff in an apartment and they really hustled.

I called Parker's moving for the first time in 2012, and hired them because they were available the day I needed to move.
I've called them twice since, most recently last weekend, because they did such an excellent job that first time. I have not been sorry that I did.
I hope that I do not require the services of a moving company for a very long time--moving is awful, as everyone knows, and I am aiming to settle in my new home--but if I do, I will call Parker's.

WORST SERVICE EVER!! First, one of the guys that showed up was incredibly slow. They didn't allow me time to do a final walk through while I was attending to my infant child. Several things were left behind. Then when they were unloading the truck they started to pile all the little items in a corner where furniture would go and I had to move that stuff out of the way so they could put the furniture there. 7 hours for a small 2 bedroom house is ridiculous! They ruined my child's baby swing and scratched a very nice wooden end table. They didn't even plastic wrap my white couch!

Great movers. They were fast, had our 2br. apartment loaded in less than 2 hours and made it to the new place quickly. It is scary when you pay by the hour but these guys are profession and took good care of our stuff. Also, they were very close to the estimate that I was given. We are glad we used them.

When I chose to move from Burien to South Seattle, I wanted to support a local, family owned business. I found Parker's Moving Service on here, gave them a call, heard their rates and was sold.
Most companies started charging from the moment that they left their facility. Parker's, most likely because I was local, didn't start charging me until they arrived at my place.

These guys went above and beyond! We had originally scheduled our move with a different company. That company was supposed to show up at noon, but ended up CALLING us at noon and cancelling. My husband scrambled, and called Parker's. They said they could get us in that same day, but it wouldn't be until later that evening. At that point, we were willing to take any time they had available, as long as we could move that day! They moved us from 8:30 PM - 1:00 AM. They were never grumpy, rude, or disgruntled. My house was mostly packed, with some straggling things left over. I had a 3 story townhouse, so A LOT of stairs which is a pain so I hired 3 guys and a truck. From what I read on the website, it would be $115 an hour.
I had a big townhouse, 2 bed 2 bath. Lots of closet space and square footage. But it's just me, so no kid furniture or anything like that, that goes along with having a family

I set up a move with All City Movers and they stood me up. I called at least 8 different moving companies and no one could move me today. I was about ready to implode when, by chance I got ahold of Jason at Parker's Moving Company. He told me that his guys were just finishing up a job in my neighborhood and could be to my house within a half hour. The guys had already moved two households that day but totally hustled - they were done in two hours flat.
My advice to you: never use All City Movers and ALWAYS USE PARKER'S MOVING SERVICE.

I have to write a review about this company, because of their company slogan, "We Break Our Backs, So You Don't Have To". Well, I call the guy saying I wanted a 450lb safe moved that has been moved over and over again by many other moving companies. It is only going from ground level to ground level. The guy on the phone said , "He isn't touching it! Because he doesn't want his men to break his backs". I just thought it was very ironic and idiotic that his company motto is they break their backs, yet the guy is too scared to have his men move a not very

Stay away from this Mover.
Recently I found these movers on craiglist and guess what, while booking them they owner was very polite. He told me $80/hr for 2 persons. I had jus 1 bed room and 1 living room furniture to be moved and they got the job done in 2 hours. I was ready with the payment but owner Jason gave me a 320 dollar bill i.e. 3 hour minimum + 1 hour of travel time. They didn't tell me the complete thing while booking the appointment and I think they do this with every other customer.
How was the move?
I got few scratches on my leather couch while moving it on the top floor.

Their motto is that they break their backs so you don't have to. I needed a cast iron tub moved from my garage into my bathroom. I filled out their online form to request services and after a week of not hearing back my husband called them and they said that we called 8 times (my husband calling was the first time either of us called so I don't know where that came from) and he said that our job posed too high of a risk of injury with not enough reward. So, I found these movers on, you guessed it, Craigslist. I watch enough court tv to know that I could write a novel along with 15 sequels regarding the horror stories of buying, obtaining, requesting and wanting anything off of the site. I am still fairly new to Seattle so I took my chances.
I had called a few weeks prior to my scheduled move and was quoted $80/hour since it would be a Saturday move. Okay, fair enough. Not bad.
