The team both on pickup and delivery was professional, friendly, asked for direction, took great care of our belongings and protected our homes from potential damage. The cost was reasonable. We were able to store our belongings on the trailer during the almost 8 weeks between pickup and delivery. We appreciate the great communication and follow up! Highly recommend!

We used Chieftain Van Lines for our move from Omaha NE to Leander TX , They are very friendly, honest , people. From the owner to the movers, I could not have asked for a better experience. Our furniture was protected by blankets, our rails were covered by them with other blankets. After arriving in Leander, the driver Randy had two other men help for the unloading, also very pleasant and careful with our items. I highly recommend them for your moving, whether in town or long distance. They will give you peace of mind.

We were extremely pleased with the way our move was handled. The crew arrived promptly and worked in an organized and efficient manner. All of the crew members were courteous and willing to go the extra mile as things came up. We have used Chieftan periodically over the last 40 years. I highly recommend this moving company to anyone who doesn't plan on doing the move themself.

I spent 26 years in the military, and, I had many, many moves. Some were very good and some were not. One was a total disaster! My recent move from my home of 26 years, one month and four days to a CCRC was by far the best move I ever encountered. I had ZERO damage. Roland, David and the team wrapped and packed my furniture on the van as if they were moving their own household. At the delivery point I experience the same professional service. On our insurance claim, Chieftain's insurance company says it will take 30 days for their inspector to look at and report back on the damage to our furniture. If this delay is not bad enough, when my wife called Chieftain and asked to speak to the owner regarding this delay, her call was screened, talking to the owner was refused and she was told, "No one has time to talk to you."

Military move scheduled almost 3 months in advance. They packed up our items (hid a broken figurine among things they weren't packing, when asked shrugged it off). They arrived on load out day with a miniature truck, after starting and not giving my husband a straight answer about what was going on informed him they would be loading 2 small trucks, unloading them in storage and waiting for a driver to be assigned. So that is moving our items 3 times minimum. Several days later and they still don't have a plan to ship the items out with a possibility that they may not deliver until after our original
