OCTOBER: October is known for many events throughout the month. Fire safety month falls during this time of the year to commemorate the Great Chicago Fire of 1871. Generally, the World Series for the Major League Baseball takes place during October, as well. Columbus day is observed the second Monday throughout the United States.
Many people participate in this fun event by dressing in costumes of their choice on this "All Hallows' Eve." The tradition of dressing in costumes originally came from the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain. The costumes people wore were to ward off the evil spirits and ghosts while standing around a bonfire.

As a community participant in Fountain Hills, I am a previous Chamber of Commerce member and a present brother in the Knights of Columbus (church fraternity). I continue to serve customers as a locksmith throughout the Fountain Hills town, Rio Verde, Tonto Verde, Goldfield Ranch, Scottsdale, and the surrounding areas.
