My older house has two floor gas heaters- it's very difficult to find companies that will work on these anymore- a neighbor said call Atlas, which I did, and they promptly referred me to Anchor. The technician that came was professional, quick, and tuned up/made repairs on the two heaters- they're better than ever now, and I would Highly Recommend Anchor!

After searching for a company that can fix my old heating system I came across Anchor heating and cooling they came out fix the furnace by adding new parts and it been thriving ever since and my gosh the price was unbelievably affordable....they were able to access some other preventable measures and recommend another company because it was out of their scope of expertise which also turn out to be great! The technicians were very courteous, friendly and above all very knowledgeable in their craft as well as through and began and finished the job in a timely matter. I owe this wonderful experience

I highly recommend Anchor Heating & Cooling for their professionalism, knowledge, and courtesy. We hired them to remove our old gas furnace and install a new multi-split heat pump system for heating and air conditioning. Josh provided options with his estimate so we could determine the best setup for our needs and budget. We had a lot of questions and he answered them all. The tech who came here was a solid guy. My problem is with their office. I've called three times over the last week simply to get the paid invoice for the work done. Each time they say they'll send it and still nothing. I don't get it. Why jeopardize the relationship with a new and otherwise satisfied customer by not sending a requested receipt for services rendered?

We had an awesome experience with Anchor! They came this week to remove an old heater from our downstairs and did the job--including taking the heater away--in less than an hour. Very friendly, communicative and prompt.
And, after removing the heater there was a little opening in the wall and they promised to come back with a cap for it...and they have already followed up with us to schedule a time to do so (without prompting). We were very happy with our experience and are now considering furnace installation with Anchor too. Highly recommended!

Everyone I have worked with at Anchor Heating & Cooling has been top notch! They have provided prompt service and have consistently managed to solve my heating problems as quickly as possible. Their rates are reasonable, they have never tried to up-sell me by recommending unnecessary repairs, and they have looked for ways to minimize our costs. More importantly, they are friendly and provide amazing service. It took me a while to find my a repair team I can trust, but now I won't let anyone else near my heating equipment!

I had purchased a new home and upon trying to turn on my heater for the first time, I got nothing - no air flow at all (hot or cold) despite the thermostat being fully functional. After calling around to multiple places in Oakland and the East Bay, I found out that nobody wanted to work on my townhome's style of heater due to it being wedged in the ceiling on the 3rd floor. Likely it was due to the inability to easily access, make repairs, or in a worst case scenario...it would be impossible to replace without ripping down the entire ceiling.

I am a contractor in the Sacramento area. We did an install in Oakland Hills and needed to perform a service call for the customer. Our bay area service technician moved to a different opportunity.

I recommend this company to my real estate clients and friends and they installed a furnace in my own home. They're pleasant and reliable and recommend you spend money only on what makes sense. They'll try to keep older systems going if that's the best option.Good HVAC companies get busy in the winter so it's a good idea to schedule services before it gets cold!

Just had Anchor Heating put in a heating system, we only had a wall heater previously. I highly recommend Anchor Heating. The price was very reasonable. Josh was great to work with in designing the system. Joel of AH installed the system. His work was excellent. After over 13 hours of work on my newer York HVAC by both Bob and Josh, I am still without any working heat or AC. It has never really worked reliably since their last visit weeks ago, but now neither work. At one point back in the summer, the AC system never shut off on the roof, unbeknownst to me, after weeks of being turned OFF on the thermostat. I got a huge PGE bill FOUR TIMES my usual bill. Josh and his team are great for commercial as well as residential projects. Through my business's remodeling process, we dealt with electrical, plumbing, framing, and HVAC. Great experience from quote request to project completion. Josh and his team were incredibly easy to work with, friendly, on time, and efficient. They really seemed to care about my project, despite it being small. I had a mini-split installed in my studio and they went out of their way to figure out a solution to my desire to not have external piping on the side of the studio. Additionally, out of four quotes I got for the project, Anchor's was the most reasonable. I'm super happy with their work!

Being a Landlord isn't all rent checks and having a good Tenant. Things wear out and break occasionally, and sometimes costly repairs are required. 2011 has been a banner year that way for both my Albany House and the Studio Rental.
