Services
We have cleared thousands of acres and do an efficient quality job that ensures you great value and quality service. Here at Tex-Star we are environmentally conscious when it comes to land clearing. We do not use rudimentary land clearing techniques like "moon-scaping." Our techniques promote erosion control and ground animal habitat establishment if desired.
At Tex-Star we use ISA pruning techniques under the supervision and guidance of our ISA Certified Arborist. We will never use Lion's tail pruning and other malicious pruning techniques that many individual neighborhood tree trimmers use. Each tree is individually assessed, pruned, and treated to ensure continued health and growth.
When it comes to landscaping simply put."we can do it all!" Plant, Tree, and Grass installation, Pathways, Rock borders, rock walls (dry stacked or mortared), patios, water features, water fall design and installation, drive way layout and installation (road base, concrete, decomposed crushed granite, etc.) arbors, creek-beds, flower beds, and much much more!
Brush chipping is a popular disposal method for brush piles and cut trees that you have on your property. We have top of the line Vermeer chippers and mulchers. Our Vermeer BC1400 XL that can take a 15 inch tree trunk and turn it into useable mulch in seconds. The mulch that we make from your cut trees and brush can be used for a variety of landscaping needs including flowerbeds, pathways and other landscaping ideas.
Oak Wilt treatment is a macro injection method using Alamo Fungicide developed by Texas A&M to combat the Oak Wilt fungus. We use pressurized containers mixed to the precise measurement to inject diseases trees or as a preventative to keep the Oak Wilt from infecting nearby specimens. Statistics show that infected oaks have an 80% survival chance after treatment.

Used website to retrieve phone number. Spoke briefly with staff member in regards to an item in stock. While said employee was not outright rude, they did make me feel as though I was being an inconvenience. I apologize for the inquiry pertaining to an item that falls well within your job description and pay scale. I cannot necessarily rate the business or website, 2 stars is generous for the staff however.

I wrote a check when they arrived to begin the job, but after they completed the task, I was left with a mess of the ground that was created by moving the root balls. The existing path with rock edges and mulch pathway was ruined and there were deep gouges left in the ground, thus I was unable to use the lawn tractor or push mower without the blades getting caught on the gouge tops. The rocks that
