Services
If moving to storage, please have a variety of cardboard (any size will do) to be used to protect furniture while in storage. Disassemble furniture (extended computer tables, bed frames, big tables, couch legs, or anything for safety, weight, big or space consuming.) Secure or remove removable shelves from cabinets/bookshelves. Also secure the doors of cabinets from opening accidentally.

I recommend Larry and his crew at Kamaaina Movers. He was accommodating when we had to reschedule and was familiar with the building we were moving from. We did pack our own individual items, so all that was left for them was to wrap furniture, tv, beds. His eagle eye was on his crew, so the loading and unloading was very efficient.

Larry and his crew are the best. High integrity, positive sense of humor, and the patience of a saint!! They were very careful with all of my things and I was impressed by their know how to get things done. They're fast and efficient and an absolute pleasure to work with. And they can work around any obstacles thrown their way. I had a difficult site manager and a 525 pound refrigerator. And they navigated both of them with grace.

Larry and his crew did a very good job of moving me on Oct. 20, 2021. I had several pieces that were fragile/glass/sensitive electronic equipment, and they all arrived undamaged and in good condition.
Although I did a lot of prep work in advance to add cushioning, bubble wrap, etc., they also shrink-wrapped all these sensitive items to give them additional protection. They also had a system of strapping, carrying, etc., so the items wouldn't get damaged.
Only one bed caster sleeve got damaged and I had to jury-rig a replacement (they forgot to shrink-wrap the casters to the frame as I

I needed a crew to help me move a large Gelato freezer into my shop through the window. I called Larry at Kama'aina Movers and he was very accommodating and reassuring. He rounded up his team, developed a plan, and arrived and executed. I was amazed at how easy they made it look! Since then, I have used them multiple times to do other moves for me and he has always been wonderful. It's hard to find people these days that you can count on when it comes to valuable items. These guys were fantastic! The apartment we were leaving was one of Honolulu's quirky, hidden places where you had to go down an uneven flight of stairs, around the back, and then back up a set of stairs on the other side of the building to get to it. I was worried they'd take one look and bolt but they just laughed at the absurdity and got to work. They were fast, careful and super nice. I can't oversell how professional and courteous they were. Moving is the pits but if we ever move again, I'm hiring these guys for sure.

We recently moved from town to Hawaii Kai, and hired Kamaaina Movers to help. The team arrived early and was quick to get started. The three man team was so efficient, we had a tough time keeping up. We had more items to move than they had expected, but they still finished in the agreed upon time and budget. They handled all our belongings with care, and we would absolutely use them again.

If you plan on moving, use these guys! They are quick, reliable, and careful. They are so efficient from the moment the enter your door and get things done. They had masks the whole time and kept themselves and our family safe.
Larry is awesome, knows exactly what he's doing and the local guys that help him out all work as a great team and it shows in how they work together in the care of your home valuables.
They wrapped everything carefully, put the beds back together, and even positioned everything exactly where we needed it to be. All with no complaint and great positive attitude

These movers were not just on time, but a tad early. My front desk folks at the old apartment building had never seen people work so quickly. Not one person slacked off at any given time. And we had six people. Incredible value for your money. Plus very easy to understand/incredibly honest billing.* I literally only paid for the minutes worked - no extra fees. Unheard of.
All my brand new heavy carved wooden furniture imported from Indonesia showed up at the other end without a scratch. I was so relieved.

Larry and his company were great. They were the only moving company that offers a 1 hour minimum job. EVERY other company had a 2 hour minimum charge plus some had traveling fees. They were dependable, worked around the schedule. I only needed a refrigerator to be moved but it was on the second floor. They very carefully got it down in 5 minutes, followed us to the west side of the island, put it exactly where I wanted. They were both very pleasant! Thanks guys!

Excellent movers. I used them a few years ago to move my refrigerator and this time around to move some antique furniture. They are still quite good and so friendly. Speedy reply to my call, setting appointment and actual moving of furniture was next day!

We're moving from a condo to a house where we'll be living on the second floor. Kama'aina movers came in to help us move all the bulky items and then some. They were masked up and extremely efficient with wrapping everything up, then loading and unloading all the items. Their prices were fair. We're very happy with their services.

Very Careful with all your belongings and lightening fast. They did not waste any time on up and down trips. Maximized the loads on every dolly. We had a combination move from 2 different locations to our new home.
