We assist clients who are expanding, merging or downsizing their office space. We work with these clients to create exciting and interesting space that benefits the staff and helps retain and attract new clients. We're consummate professionals who create work environments that have been proven to increase productivity and project professionalism and success.
CURE Urgent Care is a unique walk-in medical center with three locations: Huntington, LI; Manhattan, the upper west side on Broadway and the upper east side on Third Ave. JMK Art & Design provided the art for all locations. These photos show the Third Avenue CURE Urgent Care center. The interior architecture of this space had a special impact on our art choices.
Jonathan Nourok had great timing when he first contacted us the day of my presentation to Related. We were "blown away" by these botanical abstracts in vibrant, gorgeous colors. They were a perfect addition to the abstract contemporary collection we were creating for Related. More recently, we've presented his work to other clients for a variety of venues: condominium lounges, conference rooms, etc.
Joan's resourcefulness and professionalism have been evident in every project we've undertaken. Recently, Joan worked with us to select, frame, and install artwork in 8 public corridors for shopping center located in Time Warner Center. As a result of Joan's creative talents, these corridors are now vibrant and welcoming.
Joan has a B.S. degree from Hofstra University and a Certificate in Interior Design from Parsons. She spent 22 years as Design Coordinator and Art Curator for Smith Barney. There she founded a corporate art gallery, instituted a company-wide standards program and directed the acquisition and installation of art and furnishings.
