I did a ton of research before I decided to purchase a couch here. I was looking for quality, comfort, And style to meet the demands of our toddler and dog. I was looking for a quality stain resistant fabric with a high rub count along with a quality frame. This place checked off all those boxes and exceeded our expectations. The staff is super friendly, knowledgeable and I love that I could customize my couch. Our couch arrived on time and delivery and set up was a breeze. I highly recommend this place and the prices a fair.

This place is AWESOME!!! We have been shopping around for a new couch and we're so happy we found them. We've been looking for a custom size couch and they were very accommodating with what size we want.
We have dogs and initially wanted a leather couch. But they walked us through and suggested what was best for us! They suggested we go with a microfiber material instead. It's very pet-friendly!
Delivery was earlier than expected and smooth. They even took away our old couch. Would definitely recommend to friends and family

We couldn't be more happy with our purchase! We bought a 2 piece loveseat and sofa from Steven and it all went as expected. Steven spent the time to show us what our couches would look like in our space as well as gave us recommendations on the look and use of space.
We customized the both pieces and it was very simple. A lot of fabrics options to pick from. Delivery was ON TIME as promised and very clean and organized.
I went to a lot of furniture stores before coming across this one. I would recommend going during the week as they get pretty busy on weekends.
Prices are also very reasonable

Customer service. Customer service. Customer service. That's what separates a business like this from big box stores. We all have been dealing with supply chain and worker shortages but to handle this situation with professionalism and answering calls promptly was the most important thing. My wife and I were looking for an affordable Mid-Century Modern Sectional Sofa. Tall ask these days. No retailers around us had anything that we wanted. Anything that came close was very expensive and the lead times were ridiculous.
We were a little weary about buying a couch without actually seeing/sitting on it, but we ended up getting exactly what we wanted at a very good price. Solid craftsmanship and attention to detail. I still can't believe we were able to get a completely custom sectional for what we paid and the timeline we got it in.

I am really happy with the sofa! The wait was a bit long (2 months), but totally worth it. I did look up online, but I am very hesitant with online sofa (experienced once). I prefer to feel the materials & the comfort. Luckily I found What A Room. Steven was helping me and offered to get my sofa customized the sizes that fit my living room (this is awesome). The sofa came, the delivery guys were really kind, the service was great!

This is our second order from What A Room and we couldn't be more pleased. The team is super easy to work with and made great suggestions to help us ensure the sectional was proportional and fit our new space. Our first couch is still downstairs and holding up pretty well (with the exception of one leg which the puppy got to). We will continue to be repeat customers!

Ive purchased multiple times from this store. Everything was fine until the point that i ordered a living room set from this store. During this encounter I spoke with STEVEN on numerous occasions and provided him with the proper measurements of my home. He pretended to be a rep when it turns out that he is owner. Going back and forth before ultimately deciding and assuring me that this would fit and for future delivery. Two things really stand out for me here: the degree of customization, and the fact they're actually delivering on time in 2021. (The latter has an obvious reason: massive shipping delays from China push anything into backorder unless it's made here, which separates What A Room from the chain stores.)
Before finding them, I'd ordered a custom sectional from West Elm. They told me it would take 10-16 weeks to arrive (which is frustrating enough on its own). 9 weeks later, they called and told me it was cancelled because they ran out of the fabric.

Highly recommended! The staff at What A Room was so helpful in helping us find our master bed and dining room set. My wife was very particular about the color and style of our bed so we ended up ordering a custom bed with Steven and he 100% nailed it. We also love our new dining table and chairs. No doubt we'll be returning when it's time for new couch!

He was very knowledgeable in answering all our questions and suggesting the couch we were looking for in our new home. I feel so smart for finding this place!! I found a bed I absolutely love and received the best level of personalized customer service. The showroom is actually pretty small but Steve took me through the catalogues and was well informed on the various offerings. Delivery is within 2 weeks- not months!- and it's comforting to know that if I have an issue, there are real human beings right here to solve!

I was lucky enough to purchase a house during the pandemic. My wife and I knew we had to come back for a new sectional. The What A Room team sent Dan to my home to do some measurements and recommendations. My living room has a strange supporting beam so Dan recommended making a custom curving sectional where the couch would strategically turn at the pillar. He also recommended down filling for the couch and white color to match my home. The couch came out perfect and is one of the most comfortable couches I have ever sat on. It is the star of the room. We have gotten so many compliments every time

Recently moved to the Bay Area, and wanted to find a great couch to fit my awkwardly arranged floor plan. The designers at What a Room helped me maximize my space and designed a really great couch, at a great value. Delivery took a bit longer than quoted, but still received the couch in a reasonable time considering delays due to Covid and general industry supply shortages. I love that I was able to customize this sofa. I wanted our sofa at a specific height so I can put my arms on the back. The delivery crew were really polite and nice. They even built the bed and the nightstand for me free of charge. But of course, I tipped them. I’m happy with the order. They are busy when you go to their showroom, go online or sit and check the catalog. Be patient as it is worth just ordering from them. We have 3 more rooms to furnish and we’re just gonna order from them.

Such a quick and painless process. Daniel gave us all our options and helped pick out the couch design, fabric, color, height, depth, degree of softness and even our preference of shape for the arms. We never felt pressured but still got plenty of guidance when we needed it. We got exactly what we were expecting. Great experience overall and beautiful product!
