Jakub Karol C. was born and raised in Poland, moved to NYC in 2000 to proceed with his education and career. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology, where he now acts as a consultant to Interior Design students. Maria A. Vargas born in and raised Colombia, moved to USA when she was 15.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience with Quba Design. They designed our apartment in Miami and were wonderful to work with, had great ideas and understood what I was looking for.
I loved seeing the designs/ideas on paper, followed up in a timely manner and implementation of great colors and design. They helped us with unused space in our apt, chose each furniture piece based on our theme, color and taste. Our home looks more beautiful then I could have imagined.
They are highly recommended! We definitely plan to hire them again!

Quba Design helped us renovate a 1000 square foot apartment in the city center of Belgrade. The flat was a 1970s addition to an existing 1930s building. Jakub's idea was to open up the space, allowing for greater sunlight throughout as well as an open floor space that served to modernize the layout of the apartment. We received advice about the demolition, design, furniture, and equipment needed for renovations. It was a complete makeover from a dark, enclosed place into a large, airy, sun-filled space that exactly reflected the modern feel we wished to project throughout, in keeping with our original

We used Jakub’s services again in our new apt in the East Village area. He helped us select and obtain the furniture and equipment we liked, at a great price I might add. We were particularly pleased with his assessment of the initial conditions and charting the way forward, as the apt was not in great shape when we moved in. Jakub created good schematic designs that helped us decide where to put the different pieces of furniture, fixtures and appliances. I don't write web reviews very often, but in this case I simply had to. During the last two decades, I cooperated with dozens of interior designers and this was the best experience I have ever had. There are plenty of skillful professionals on the market, but Quba outperforms others by his exceptional understanding the specific needs of his clients. Truly, he is a visionary.
