Joseph and John opened the first Jabro Bros. showroom in 1953 on Ford Avenue in Wyandotte with the knowledge and expertise they learned from their father James Jabro beginning in 1935. With lots of hard work and hard long hours, their success proved to be the groundwork that moved them into a larger facility on Fort Street from 1958 to 1988.

Great job with the floors. Thank you Sue for helping me pick out the material and color of the floor. It looks and feels wonderful. Also a shout out to the installers. They were very friendly and professional. And most importantly, they cleaned up after themselves. The whole experience (from choosing the type of floor, to purchasing it, to the install) flowed really well. I really appreciate the hassle free experience. Again, awesome job and I will be back to pick out some more flooring in about a year.

I am very pleased with my entire experience with Jabro. Sarah in sales was super helpful in helping me pick out the right flooring and Sherri in admin kept her finger on the movement of product from manufacturer to shop to ensure Jabro would be able to meet install date. And she kept me in the loop which in my book is pretty awesome customer service. On install day, the team was on time & ready to work. They knocked out the livingroom, hallway & bedroom in less than three hours. Great job by everyone.

Good experience from the sales office to the installers. The installers took care of some flooring issues from the original builder to provide a great looking floor. They were courteous, cleaned up afterwards and worked very hard to be on schedule. Good explanation for caring for the flooring. Not the least expensive flooring company around but the valve is there and worth the extra.

Bought carpeting for my home. Working with Jabro was like working with family. We were allowed to take home as many samples to check out it our lighting. Changed my mind after my color decision and was able to take home more samples. I told them we had a 50# dog and was told the best for pets. No one was pushy. The installers came and were very… knowledgeable and professional. After installing, they brought in their own vacuum and cleaned up. We went somewhere else with the last carpet, and left with a mess and the carpet lasted only 6 years. Definitely recommend Jabro Carpet One.

Just had vinyl plank flooring installed in kitchen and on through family room.
Excellent company to work with.
I requested to move up if anyone cancelled and ended up getting it done 3 weeks earlier than original quoted time.
Men who installed it were knowledgeable and did an excellent job, even in problem areas.
I would highly recommend Jabor's Carpet One.

We wanted all new flooring for the main area of our house. Jabro’s had a very good selection of laminate floors. Sue was very helpful. Installation was done in less than 2 days, including removal of the old floors. Installers did an excellent job, cleaned up after and offered helpful solutions. Floors look great! Very happy with my new flooring!

Jabros is the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. They constantly make promises they can’t keep, they told me over a week ago they would come to my house, but they didn’t show up. So I called them again, and they said they would be here Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday. Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, they never showed up. Called them Friday and they said for sure they’d be here Monday. Monday they never showed up. All I get is excuses. Lots of promises but nothing else. They never follow through. Don’t deal with Jabros.

Sue, my salesperson, did a fabulous job helping me pick out the perfect carpet and laminate. I needed carpet for a staircase and she steered me to the perfect weight and materials for such a high traffic area. I am very satisfied with the professional installation of the carpet as well. The laminate was purchased at Jabro but we did the installation. All the new flooring is beautiful. I highly recommend.
