Mark founded Rosewood Communities in 1999 and has been developing and building homes in the Upstate ever since. Mark provides the vision for Rosewood Communities. He is constantly planning new locations and ensuring that Rosewood Communities stays innovative. Claus has been in new construction since 1990 and has been with Rosewood since 2003.
We know that every family is different, so we have spent years designing over 25 different floor plans to accommodate everyone's unique needs. Flooded with natural light, each open concept floor plan has been designed to amplify space and flow. Our plans start at 1856 square feet with each one having the master bedroom on the main floor.
The mission of Homes for Hope (H4H) is to work within the building industry forming partnerships with builders and their trade partners to create H4H income generating projects to provide financial resource to help support HOPE International and like-minded organizations which work to alleviate physical and spiritual poverty in the lives of families and individuals in developing countries throughout the world.

Our home and neighborhood are beautiful!!!! We have young children, and have been so happy about our home’s design, the quality, and the experience! Rosewood has always been quick to respond if we ever have a question. The neighborhood is such a nice place to walk, with flat well maintained sidewalks, and large cul-de-sacs for our children to play in. Our large kitchen is every chef’s dream. We have been very pleased!

We live in Ridgestone. Rosewood Communities are poor communicators.
The home they built for us is a reasonable good home, but the poor communication destroyed the new home building experience. It may not be worth it to you. After you sign the contract do not expect to receive any contact or assistance from them. It took three e-mails just to find out some basic information from them before our 11 month punch list, and I initiated the 11 month review process.
They are not proactive and seem to be overwhelmed or too busy. They do not want their superintendents bothered with phone calls, even though

We had looked for over two years to find a quality home for a fair price. This builder offers exactly that. After visiting some of their models, we noticed the incredible craftsmanship and beautiful finishes. My favorite part of the house is the kitchen! The exquisite cabinetry, not to mention the number of cabinets, is something else. The outdoor living that Rosewood provides is our next favorite space. With the gas fireplace and screened in porch, we find ourselves outside in all seasons, day and night. Finally, the location of this neighborhood, Ridgewalk Cottages, is what finally made our decision

What a fabulous experience we had with Rosewood Communities, Ridgewalk Cottages. Our first experience was when we toured the open house and we were greeted by Zander. From there, we had the opportunity to work with Cathi Austin who was extremely helpful in assisting us with choosing our plan and upgrades. Cathi was very attentive to our questions ie via email/text messages. We actually were able to close two weeks sooner than what was in our original contract. We are enjoying our home in the two weeks we have been here. Well built home and great layout for our needs and our budget.

We purchased a Rosewood built home in the spring of 2017 and moved in December of the same year. As is the usual case with a new build over time there were items that required fixing which were not apparent during the first 12 months after closing. We are grateful to Klause and his crew for always responding to our concerns in a timely manner.

My wife and I just visited two homes in the Waterstone Cottages subdivision. The model home cost was ~$265,000 and the just-built home next door cost ~$312,000. These homes are blatantly overpriced. The just-built home next door has almost $50,000 in upgrades from it's base price and it is still worlds apart from my current home's amenities and options, and my home is for sale for about the same price. There is NO comparison between my home and this house and they are priced to sell the same.
