Cool Shades Painting founder and owner Pete Statti entered the painting industry at age 18. Right out of high school, he went to work for one of the most established, well respected painting contractors in Orange County. He enjoyed the work so much, he got his license and went out on his own. More than 30 years later, Pete is still painting houses and taking names all over the Southland.

If you want a crew that is professional, detail-oriented, and reliable, Cool Shades Painting is the company to call. We received a very detailed quote and we had quite a few items that were beyond a normal paint job - fascia and window trim repair, termite damage, and water rot. The prices were fair and broken down individually so we could see what each line item cost. We had to change our start date a couple of times while waiting for other projects to finish and they were very accommodating to reschedule us. It was a great experience. Pete's crew painted the home interior including all the ceilings where we had previously removed the old acoustic covering. The crew arrived early each day and worked efficiently until they were finished. At the completion of the work the crew cleaned up the entire work area and arranged the furniture. We are very happy with the results and will recommend Cool Shades to our friends.

I had a great experience with Cool Shades! The crew showed up early, worked hard all day, respected my property, were super careful and very friendly, and best of all, the house looks amazing!!
We had the exterior (stucco and trim) done, as well as 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, and our home office. Pete helped me choose the exterior color, and suggested doing the trim in a much darker shade (rather than white) which I absolutely love.
The color in our home office turned out to be very different than we expected (our fault for not really comparing colors well), and Cool Shades was very accommodating
