Kelly Keiser Interior Design

Kelly is fantastic! We live in a 3 bedroom/2 bath rental and need some inspiration so we brought Kelly in and she walked through every room (including our outside space) and brainstormed about new accessories, positioning of furniture, placement of art, addition of bar cart and more. We have already implemented her splendid ideas and our friends and family are raving about the new additions. Kelly just freshened the place up! That's exactly what we needed! I came across Kelly's shop on Chestnut a few years ago and have worked with her on and off since then. I've enjoyed working with Kelly immensely. My projects have all been relatively small (I'm working on a room-by-room basis), but Kelly has always given me her undivided attention. She has done a fantastic job of assessing my personal style and letting me stay as involved (or uninvolved) as I've wanted to be. Working with Kelly has been a pleasure. I have worked with Kelly on and off for the past few years and Kelly has been wonderful to work with every step of the way. My project has been large- first a significant remodel, then some significant interior design work, followed by a bathroom remodel and finally I am currently wrapping everything up. That is what my friend called it when she became indirectly involved in a situation I had with Kelly.

In late July Kelly was closing her interiors shop on Chestnut Street. She was having a closing sale with items from her store significantly reduced. I peeked in the window and saw two tables I was interested in and left her a message as I was looking in the window. I re- attempted to call her many more times since I was leaving on a vacation in several days after, and wanted to settle on the tables. Well, I personally had a truly amazing experience with Kelly.

I had the pleasure of working with Kelly Keiser Splendid Interiors and her team of young, fresh-faced designers while redecorating my house in the Oakland Hills. Kelly did a full re-design of my home including paint selection, space planning, lighting design, custom draperies, custom furniture design and of course, fabulous accessories and art. (we even did a bar cart!) She also spent a significant amount of time in the beginning phases of the design process helping me determine my personal design style, which I now feel confident

This review is late in coming (experience early 2009) only because
I was unaware, at the time, about yelp and the benefit of these reviews
which helps tremendously in choosing a business that delivers quality and satisfaction.
I live in the Marina and one day while walking on Chestnut St., I discovered
this lovely shop called Kelly Keiser Interiors. At that time I was in the midst of
planning a new kitchen and thought this would be wonderful to have a
designer right in the neighborhood.

I phoned Ms Keiser and after explaining what I needed, we made an appointment
for her to visit for a consultation

Kelly helped me with a major renovation of my townhouse in Pacific Heights, which included redoing every room of the 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath home. She has a great eye and is fantastic at picking colors and fabrics. Friends gave high marks after seeing the finished product. As a result of her efforts, I managed to sell the property at a good price.

I am currently working on a project with Kelly and find her wonderfully creative . As we were discussing ideas, she put them to paper, complete with colors and concepts..This was super helpful and allowed us to blend our visual with Kelly's ideas and agree on the direction we were taking. Kelly went to work and called us back into her shop for a review of what she'd found. Upon our approval, she sent an invoice for our chosen fabrics and we are looking forward to the final product. Kelly has a great eye and clever ideas. She has been upbeat and accommodating throughout.

I stopped into Kelly's shop because I really liked her style and taste. She seemed like a good designer for me to use. I did not have a huge budget and made that very clear to her. While my initial consult with her was good/useful, she never did any follow up with me. She was supposed to get fabrics samples for me (drapes, furniture, pillows) which she never ordered, and she never followed up with me with a quote. When I followed up on the samples, she had 'lost' my list so I had to go back through the book and pick them all out again. Then, again, she never followed up with

I was referred to Kelly Keiser through one of her former clients....A very happy client! When working on my Marina home...Kelly was nothing but professional, creative, & delivered my vision to an exact "T"! I have referred Kelly to many other individuals & They have all have been very happy with the end result. I trust that Kelly is suing Peter J. for a reason & I have had nothing but a positive experience.
