Kevin did an outstanding job on designing my kitchen. He was very meticulous and had creative ideas that utilized my space more efficiently. He's very professional and has a calm demeanor; not pushy at all. The design process was quite pleasant and his material and paint selection was spot on. My designer, Creative Partner, took me to Kevin at KDS for my kitchen cabinet design. We were doing a whole new kitchen, essentially a new build. Kevin listened to my specific needs, asked questions about my wants - space for: lots of spices, microwave drawer, island sink, usable corner space, island cabinetry, tall shelves, canister drawer, large drawer for pots and pans, smaller drawers for utensils, larger drawer for tupperware, and so on. I have been working with Karen on a bathroom remodel design. Because I am still in the planning phases of what I want to do, I have had the opportunity to talk to her while beginning my initial design process over several months. Each time she comes over, I feel like a friend is coming for coffee. She has a great personality and is so easy to work with. Each time I have contacted her, she responds immediately. When it was time to choose kitchen cabinets, Ariana was very helpful. She listened to what we needed and was able to envision the perfect layout. Her CAD drawings enabled us to visualize the space and make adjustments to accommodate our family’s needs and flow. She was flexible and was able to help us identify what we wanted when it wasn’t clear to us. We had been thinking about remodeling our kitchen (built in 1978) for quite some time. We knew "the look" we wanted but did not know how to achieve it.
We researched several firms before choosing KDS. We liked their business model and had great success working with Ariana, one of their designers.

Kevin Roessler at KDS is an innovative designer whom I can highly recommend for any project. Kevin really took the time to understand how we use our kitchen and then created the design accordingly. Kevin asked us about how many people are cooking typically at the same time, what needed to be within my reach (I am much shorter than my husband), how much space we needed/wanted for various activities (baking, pasta-making, etc.), how much storage was required (lots and lots), how much socializing happened in the kitchen and many more details that never would have crossed my mind. Kevin designed and installed not only an amazing open-plan kitchen (see picture), but also a laundry room and in-law apartment kitchenette for us. He visited us to talk through his draft plans rather than our having to travel to his showroom and was responsive on our change requests. We're thrilled with the quality of the cabinets, the thoughtfulness of the design and his customer care.

We are in the "thinking stages" of a kitchen remodel, and at the recommendation of a friend I stopped in at KDS to see what they had on offer. I was immediately struck by the friendliness and professionalism of the team. Even though I made it clear that this was only a fact finding mission, I was given great information, enjoyed a thought provoking tour of their beautiful showroom and was never pressured to commit on the spot. This was a delightful contrast to some other showrooms I stopped into where I was essentially ignored as I was not planning on engaging that day. So far I am impressed

They are both so easy to work with and have GREAT vision. We had been working with our GC designer for the kitchen arrangement, and at our first meeting, KDS helped us make a few changes of appliances that made the arrangement even better. We hired Kevin of KDS to help us design our kitchen area for a remodel project after finding some very positive reviews on Houzz. We found Kevin to be very professional, organized, and detailed-oriented in his approach throughout all phases our project.
