Following graduation from Appalachian State, I started my career in banking at Credit Suisse here in the RTP area. Following a few cubicles and offices later, I found myself yearning for the physical activity I had once had in sports all growing up. While still in Finance I had an opportunity to get involved as a manager part time at a local moving company.
Local moves are defined as any move with a distance of 35 miles or less from load to unload. Here at Raleigh Moving Company there is no move too big or small for us to complete. Whether you are moving a couch down the street or moving a 6 bedroom home across town we are here to serve you! Through experience we have seen many scenarios across the industry, we are confident we can come up with a customized plan to meet your exclusive moving needs!
Long distance moves are qualified as any move over 35 miles from load to unload. Need to go from Raleigh to Charlotte, Wilmington to Greensboro, Durham to Asheville? As long as it is within the state of North Carolina, we have you covered! Here at Raleigh Moving Company we are currently only servicing moves within the state of North Carolina, but will be expanding to greater states soon.
Packing can be a complicated and timely process. Whether it is deciding how to pack a specialty item, a fragile painting, or the whole house, Raleigh Moving Company can create a customized plan to fit your exact needs. FULL SERVICE PACKING/UNPACKING - We can do it ALL! We understand life gets busy, you don't have the time to pack/unpack yourself but you want someone to care for your items like you would.

The five-man crew who helped us with a full house, local move were amazing. They were on time and worked efficiently, communicated well and checked in repeatedly to make sure everything was where we wanted it and we were happy. Each member of the team was friendly and helpful. Would absolutely use this group again and highly recommend them to anyone in need of a move!

We had a wonderful move with Raleigh Moving Company. Our team (Wilson, Travis, Johnny, James, and Matthew) was incredible. They carefully wrapped and padded all of our belongings, protected our floors with matts, and most importantly got us moved out and moved into our new place without any hiccups. I was very impressed with the communication between the team members, which ensured that our furniture (and walls!) were protected. All of the guys were also incredibly friendly. I would highly recommend Raleigh Moving and especially this team!

Wilson and Team did a fantastic job with a local move from my apartment to a storage unit. Upon their on-time arrival, we had a chat about certain concerns I had, then the three of them went to work. I was free to stay out of their way and do some cleaning. Everything went smoothly, furniture 'parts' were boxed and set aside so that I'd know where they are for later assembly, and everything fit into the storage unit (I had some serious concerns about that). I highly recommend Raleigh Moving Company and will not hesitate to use them again should the need arise.

We just moved and picked Raleigh Moving Company based on reviews and their website. Wilson and the crew were absolutely the right choice and were amazing from start to finish. The whole crew was professional and took fantastic care of all our items. We really appreciated the attention to detail, wrapping items, and work ethic of the whole team through two locations of loading and then unloading. We will definitely be recommending them and will use them again in the future. The pricing was fair and transparent and you can tell they take pride in their work.
