We have had the pleasure of working with Anna Rode Design for several months and have been completely delighted with our experience. Coleen selected beautiful paint colors for our entire home. We love the wall, trim, cabinet and door colors and also the new wood floor Coleen selected for us. Our work was completed within the timeline we desired.

The featured home is located in a beautiful Rancho Santa Fe neighborhood with spectacular canyon views. Originally built in 1999, the home was in need of a facelift which was the perfect opportunity to infuse the clients' Greek culture as well as touches of bling. Anna Rod Designs is thrilled to receive the Best of Houzz Award for 2021 to recognize our interior design work!

Coleen made recommendations on paint colors for our bathrooms and on the hall bath I was concerned it may end up too dark but after they painted the room I could not be happier. It really made my cabinets pop and upgraded the entire look of the room.

Coleen was my interior designer for two of my homes. She was instrumental in giving me the home of my dreams each time. I worked with her regarding design, color coordination and furniture selection. She provided beautiful, computer generated renderings so I could envision the final result. She assisted managing her team of contractors who exhibited the same quality and attention to detail as she does. In addition, she also assisted with the design decisions at my business facility (Streeter Printing). I have recommended her to friends and family members because I knew they would also be pleased

This was my second time hiring a designer to work on a brand new home. In every detail I am very satisfied with Coleen. Her choices of materials, style, and color are nuanced and always spot on. Some of her ideas might seem bold--only because she could see possibilities that we "laypersons" didn't see (e.g., the back of our bookcases as well as the ceiling of our powder room are painted red; every guest came to our house so far was all positively impressed). Coleen is resourceful and always found the right companies and people to finish different tasks, and she worked just fine with

I first hired Coleen to help me with paint colors when I lived in San Diego. I learned then that she does a whole lot more! She helped me select furniture for my living room, quickly learning my style and budget! I recently moved to FL, and to be honest, had no idea where to begin with the beautiful older home we bought. Through Skype and phone conversations, she helped me select wall colors and place my old furniture to fit my new surroundings, instead of having to purchase more. Thanks, Coleen, you're the best!

Redoing a bedroom and was about to order a bed at Pottery Barn when I remembered Coleen mentioned when she did my window treatments that she could customize any bed I wanted and save me money! And, true to her word, we put together a queen sized storage bed with an incredible fabric for a lot less than I was getting ready to pay! When this comes in (also a lot faster than PB) I plan to order a cutomized sectional for my living room. I know it sounds like it should cost more...but with Coleen's expert craftsmen, the quality is there and the box store price mark up is not!

She had some good idea for our house the first time we used her.
Was a little bummed because I wanted her to come out again and she called me 3 days later so the window was missed for her consulting before our big event. I wish she would have apologized for the delay (i guess she usually checks her cell phone and I had her office phone) and I wish she would have offered us a discounted price. That would have been the polite thing to do.

This designer is a fraud. While going through kitchen designs on the internet, I discovered THE KITCHEN THAT MY HUSBAND AND I DESIGNED and Ms. Rode is claiming it as her own. The "Old World Kitchen" on her web site WAS DESIGNED BY ME and I have the plans to prove it Ms. Rode. Buyer beware, what other designs is she slapping her name on??? Shame on you.

Colleen is the BEST. I have utillized her services and expertise for the past 25 years. When she walks into my house, I follow her with a notebook and pen in hand because she is full of suggestions, ideas, etc., that are remarkable. She has transformed the living space throughout my entire house. Color selection, furniture, decorative painting, window treatments, custom pillows, granite selections, bedding, headboard, accessories, room design, custom area rugs, wall paper selection, lighting, etc. I could go on an on. She has gone shopping with me to select items. She tells me where to go

I set up a surprise for my wife as part of her Chirstmas present for Coleen to come by and give us some much needed pointers on how to convert our house into our home. She showed up with a Santa hat and presented a certificate of what the surprise entailed..really nice touch!
As we got into it she turned out to be a very nice person that not only was extremely knowledgable, but also worked to collaborate with our sense of style. Coleen is the BEST designer in San Diego, she is professional and knowledgeable and listens to what the client is wanting and making suggestions that are well received.
Coleen made our 2 year old condo into a home with her magic touch and her loving way. She works within a budget and gets the job done in a very timely manner.
