I used two designers from Havenly. Products were the wrong size and dimensions. You could create board similar on Pinterest. Furniture items too big or small and then returning them is not an easy process. It's a good concept but they don't deliver what was promised.

Terrible experience! Designer sent me items and after I purchased was told that one piece was incorrectly priced even though Havenly authorized my card! I sent three mails requesting they cancel my entire order and they are continuing to charge my card! I have almost $3000 in authorizations pending on my debit card currently! I am going to have to cancel my card to keep them from continuing to charge. Such a bad experience. I also have not heard from my designer at all since the pricing error.

Poor experience - products I marked as disliking were included in the final design, despite marking other options that I liked. Products all seem to come from either West Elm, which I don't like, Pottery Barn, or Wayfair. We paid for a bedroom design and basically just had little images placed around a room with links to buy two pieces of furniture, curtains, a rug that I didn't like, a lamp, one piece of artwork, and a mirror that I did not like. Oh and the lamp is out of stock. I'm really not sure why anyone would pay for the service.

I suppose it's our fault for not heeding other reviews we read, but after a wonderful experience with Havenly's designer we made the massive mistake of ordering furnishings through them. After placing the order at one price, what we were actually charged was more than $500 more than the amount we authorized! And because we placed the order through Havenly, there is no recourse to cancel. Worse, after three days and multiple attempts to contact customer service for help with the problem we've had zero response! This is not only terrible customer service, but potentially fraudulent business practice

Bad experience. They don't pay attention to your emails or requests. They waste your time then try to sell you whatever they can. An investigative reporter at CBS NEWS or THE NEW YORK TIMES should take a look at this company to see how they treat customers. There are really interesting visual elements to accompany this potential investigative story.

We did not have a positive interaction with Havenly. At first, we were very excited to get design inputs on our full kitchen remodel. We worked with the designer, and asked for tips on functionality/flow of the kitchen, however, they weren't able to provide any input on this. After we designed the kitchen on our own, we sent them the mockup, and it seemed they did very minimal in terms of design. They sent us a few ideas of decorations (and just placed them overtop of the design image we gave them). Aside from that, there wasn't much to the process besides picking a few things from

Absolutely worthless!

My designer quit the platform and when I next logged on, they had not only lost all my work and designs, but the system demanded that I pay again, despite the fact that I had paid in full weeks prior. After multiple emails the problem is still not fixed and they do not even answer the phone.

Designers are fantastic. But once you buy the products, the great service ends. Their customer service is mostly absent as they ask you to leave a voicemail, and if you are able to speak with someone it's terrible service. Felt like I was on the phone with the cable company! There is no ownership of a customers problems or willingness to help you. I would not recommend using this company!

While I liked my designer, I highly recommend steering away from ordering through Havenly.

Terrible method of communication when you are trying to manage your schedule around delivery dates and times. When you buy directly from a retailer, you are able to set a date well in-advance. Doing it through Heavenly was a NIGHTMARE with zero communication or updates.

Proceed with caution! I ordered an item via Havenly with the expectation that it would be delivered in early December 2020 (incorrectly advertised during the checkout process). The ETA was initially changed to March 2021 and now its been pushed back again until May (and can be further delayed 30+ days). After requesting a refund, there has been very slow communication and the unwillingness to refund my money prior to talking to an unresponsive vendor (supposedly). The lack of efficient business processes, the inability to give an accurate ETA on an item they're selling, and the poor customer service

This company is run by horrible management and should never be given the chance to further abuse its lower level employees.
My friend used to work for Havenly. While she is a good and VERY hard worker, and she produced exceptional work (even lauded by her coworkers and some higher ups), I cannot give this company a good review. Havenly abuses the efforts of its designers, paying them the lowest tier wages, and expecting perfection from them in all efforts, all the while providing borderline zero assistance and failing to communicate.
The lack of communication is probably Havenly's biggest downfall

Consistent with many other users, this has been an extremely frustrating experience. Customer service is nearly non-existent as it takes DAYS just to get a response to simple questions. And if you ask another question as a follow up, guess what? "I'll have to get back to you in 1-2 business days." On top of that, the furniture that was recommended, the Safavieh Burton coffee table, and priced by Havenly at $511 was available at big box stores (Target, Walmart, and even Home Depot) for $265!!! I've tried two designers from Havenly and it just doesn't work as a company.

***I purchased a full room makeover and afterwards learned from non-Havenly designers that Havenly is not a good business model to them. They are paid so low per hour that they need to rely on commissions of pieces sold through Havenly to get paid. They don't have the time to devote to multiple clients, but multiple clients are needed to make a profit. I would not have gone through Havenly had I known this.

If the designer alone was rated it would be a 4 or 5. Do not order your merchandise from them. Believe what other people have written. I wish I did. They do not answer text messages and when you are desperate and call, they do not answer the phone.

I attended a Zoom decor class online with Havenly and had a surprisingly fun time! I've followed Havenly on Instagram for a while. I have studied interior decorating before and was thrilled it was all-levels instead of just true beginner, because I actually was able to take away new ideas.

We discussed design elements, current trends, and I LOVED the real-life tour of the designers actual spaces and how they weaved that into tips while answering questions. I also really liked how the presentation featured high-quality photos of spaces they've personally designed. I find it obnoxious

I was very excited to use this service to design a large space in a new home. My designer quit working for Havenly in the midst of the process after submitting some lackluster designs that were nothing like the Vision boards we originally discussed. At this point, It’s now 30 days after I paid the designer fee. I am contacted and provided a $30 credit and given three suggestions of designers who can start on the project immediately. I select one of these projects and I’m told it will be one week, then 2 weeks, then 30 more days. Very disappointed and will use the free services available through

I've been using Havenly for the past 2 years and have used their designers to design 6 different rooms (living, dining, and multiple bedrooms). If you're looking for an easy way to design and decorate your space, this is the way to do it. Each design took about 2 weeks from start to completion. You are first given multiple mood boards, concepts, and then given the final layout. If you are detailed and communicate well with the designers they will be able to create the space you're looking for. Be very specific giving them details of your room and budget and they'll be able

This isn't my cup of tea and not just for the fact that it's such a challenge communicating design plans and thoughts via online chat, but I'm also not a fan of their business concept as a whole.

The reason anyone would seek the advice of an interior design company (online or not) is for professional consultation and assistance. If I knew what a blackout panel was prior to this experience, I would have bought one myself or knew that I didn't need it because I already have blinds. I clearly communicated that I was in need of curtains and not only were curtains not suggested

To start off, I love Havenly! I work from home and I was in need of a fully functioning office. I came across Havenly and was a little skeptical using an internet interior design company. My husband and I have used Havenly three times now--two full room design packages for our office and nursery, as well as the mini package for our bathroom. I can't say enough good things about Havenly, their services and their designers. I have exclusively worked with Shelby and think the world of her and her talents. I've also referred many friends to Havenly and they've worked with various designers; everyone has ended up happy. In short, you can't go wrong with any of their designers.
