We have known Jim Shepard and availed ourselves of his services many times. First time was the renovation of our church in San Luis Obispo, and most recently on the reconstruction of our deck at home in Atascadero. Jim's crews are skilled and trustworthy. Jim has completed three projects for us; the first was a new construction solar-roofed carport in Paso Robles, the second was a comprehensive rehab of a four-unit residential building in Monterey and the third was new construction of a two-unit guest house in Paso Robles. I recommend Jim highly.

Jim did a beautiful, top notch kitchen remodel for us this past year along with several other small upgrade projects, including upgrading our 2nd story deck and replacing a bathroom vanity. He is truly a great guy to work with and we highly recommend him! He was very responsive and always returned calls and emails in a timely manner. He kept the project moving along nicely and was great at coordinating with others involved. He was very patient and always open to thoughts, ideas and changes throughout the project. We had an incredible experience with Jim Shepard and his team. We took a home built in 1948 to the studs while adding an additional 500 square feet. Jim's unique architectural ideas, attention to detail and top-notch construction resulted in a stunning architectural masterpiece. And he works quickly! Our home was taken to the studs and rebuilt faster than a close friend remodeled her pool-house!! Excellent service, excellent response time and excellent workmanship. Highly recommend - so much so that he is starting another remodel for me in a new home at the end of the month!!

Jim Shepard and his crew were top notch from start to finish! I have never had a job run more smoothly. We did a major home remodel and it was done exactly when Jim promised. The quality of work was flawless and we appreciated Jim's eye for design - he made suggestions we never would have thought of on our own! I would definitely call upon his services again if we ever do any other remodel work and I have recommended him to all of our friends and neighbors.
