The filing cabinet in my office was missing a key and I called requesting an estimate on a site visit and updated lock and key. However, Debbie asked me if there was a number on the lock and, after checking to see that there was, said she could try cutting me a new key for a fraction of the price. It turned out the code still worked and they saved me a hundred dollars!

Visiting the store was an even greater treat, as it is like taking a step back in time. I didn't feel comfortable taking pictures but felt like I was in the type of place my dad would take me as a boy.

We called to see if he was open. He asked us what we needed then hung up. I know that a key copy doesn't generate much profit but man what a way to treat customers.

BEWARE! Absolutely awful service. Debbie left us hanging with no working lock when we were leaving town. The key we got didn't work, and wasn't even willing to try to get someone back to us on short notice because of "overtime". Didn't even ask if I would pay more (which I gladly would have to fix their mistake). At 440pm (working hours) she said she couldn't help because she "shut her computer down for the day". No, I'm not kidding.

Emerson's has been my go to place for all my locksmith needs. They are very friendly and helpful. Miss them when they used to be on Santa Monica Blvd. for many years, but happy that they are still in the area. They are the BEST!!

Emerson's is a throwback to a different era - a time of personal service, accountability and respect.

Emerson Locksmith is one of the best Locksmith's in the whole city. They have been in business over 50 years so they have literally seen it all! I am pretty handy when it comes to house stuff and I was fixing a broken deadbolt and they told me if I brought the deadbolt in they could rekey it and save me a little money. Of course I had to put the thing back on which took a little while but I really appreciated that they tell it to you straight, and also they are true experts in locks and home security. I am a real estate agent, so I go over there are a lot for garage remote clickers and also

I called Koontz hardware who referred me to Emerson's. I called their number and spoke to Debbie. She gave me excellent advice on locks to use on my new security gates. Thank you for spending time to understand my needs and explaining what was needed. I will definitely call them again for future projects.

Would have loved to have worked with these guys but they could not get their stuff together enough to make an appointment with me and strung me along for a week.

I was referred to them by my friends contractor to fix some locks on my french doors.

On July 9 I called and asked if they could fix the doors by the 30th. The man I spoke to said they were in the middle of moving offices and didn't know if they could take on the job or if it was a job better suited for a handy man he knows. He asked me to email him pictures and he would let me know. So I did and in the email again stated I needed
