This company put on an appealing face but their inability to communicate is horrible. After a lousy seeding job the normal tech committed to getting someone to fix the issue. I was told that all necessary prep would occur in response to my email indicating that you would be wasting your time if the ground was not aerated once more before seeding. Today Kyle ,my regular tech, reseeded a great deal and that is appreciated but there was no prep done to ensure the seed gets into the soil correctly and several bare spots were still missed that he and I discussed the last time he was here.

We are now encountering our second major issue with Canopy within a year. First was related to plumbing (mower hit the sewer backflow pipe) now it’s our cable (aeration hit the cable line and we’re out of internet. Both times unresponsive and unprofessional. Cost is too high for this many problems and consistently subpar work.
We have also reached out to the sales team several times for quotes on various other lawn improvement projects and received little to no follow up from them.

Justine and Jesus, the team that comes weekly, go above and beyond the usual lawn care maintenance. The team lead checks in with me before visits (either thru the office system or directly) and when on site. This ensures my specific requests for each visit are done, and we have a great system to rotate attention to the many beds in the yard. Super kind and friendly -- ask our puppy!!

Canopy says all the right things but the execution just is not there. I started with them in February and have a lot invested at this point. They have basically killed all vegetation in my backyard and now I am having issues with soil erosion. Seems like anytime someone calls they are willing to help but not much happens. They also suggest I can move on if not satisfied which is easy for them to say since I am the one with so much invested and they have done very little for the money aside from killing the grass I had.

Canopy has been a great company with amazing staff. Over the past six months our care team, lead by Justin, have been working hard to turn a disaster of lawn into a place of calm and beauty. We love the technology that Canopy utilizes to keep us in the loop. Like clockwork we receive a reminder the day before service, a text message prior to arrival, and then an after-care report with a detailed message and pictures of what was accomplished. Any hiccups along the way have been quickly addressed by John and Matt - what more can you ask for? Customer service, check; quality work, check; not having

We just moved into a new home whose yard was forsaken and dilapidated. After having several trees removed the yard was in very bad shape. Ben, Kevin and the entire Canopy team prepared, graded, and then sodded and seeded my entire yard. They were absolutely professional in terms of quality and customer service the entire time and I could not be more happy. Standing outside last night with a freshly sodded yard was amazing as the neighbors talked about never having seen the yard at my house look even remotely close to as good as it looks now. Canopy has been caring for our lawn for almost 4 years. Professional, good communication, responsive, and quality service. Recently they knocked a hole in our fence with their mower and were quick to not only report the incident but also repair the fence!! Super impressed with their handling of the incident and highly recommend them!!

I had these guys do my lawn care biweekly for about 2 years while I lived in Clayton.
My lawn went from weeds to actual grass by the time we sold our house. I'm not sure why they have such a low rating, but I had nothing but a positive experience with them. I only stopped service because I moved.

Terrible. If I could give one star, I would.
My wife and I were faced with a predicament subject from a Family Emergency, and we were left with a house an hour away to care for and maintain. My wife called Canopy, spoke to a guy, and he was really helpful, she said. She gave him the address, he worked with her on price, and he said he could do it; no problem! We agreed on a date... Well, that day came and past, and she called in to find out if they ever made it out there, and they said with all the rain they have not been able to, because they are working on catching up from the past week
