I sure wish I would have checked reviews before hiring Kozy! I called for a one time mow. The owner Joe said he would have someone out the next day. At 3:15pm the next day no one had been to my house yet. I called to see if they were still coming. Joe put me on hold to see what happened. He said I was on the schedule, but they didn’t make it out. He didn’t know why, but he would make sure they came out the following morning. Two guys came out the next day. When I went out and looked at it later, they mowed over a white plastic ball, destroying it but didn’t bother to pick it up. There was

I am not a customer, but one of my neighbors is. I live at the end of a street and Kozy UnCare has driven through my flower beds multiple times when turning around. Last summer they backed into a shrub hard enough to cause enough breakage such that it needed to be removed. I am frequently outside and have witnessed their poor driving (through my flowerbed) multiple times, including this week. There is plenty of room to turn around (it may take more time and require a couple of back and forths), but these rude people would rather drive onto my property with me standing there rather than taking the

I purchased a home a little over a year ago and continued using Kozy as the lawn care company as the previous owner did. I could not be happier with my experience. These gentlemen are very personable and keep detailed notes on my lawn. This morning I was getting my mail and Bob (who I had never met) happened to be driving past finishing up work on a nearby property. He took the time to turn around and come ask me about how my lawn was doing and how their services have been. This made my day. I watch them do my neighbors yard and I’m not sure why they still use them. The yard looks very subpar and they constantly leave the yard covered in trash, from not picking it up before mowing. I’ve also witnessed the chemical applicators applying herbicides without any PPE that is required by the state. Every time they come to their property I know it’s them cause they always slam the trailer ramp on the concrete instead of easing it down. I also stopped frequenting the kwik shop by my house in the mornings, due to the “crew” getting gas there and being overly obnoxious in the parking

Worst decision I ever made was to call these guys for my lawn service. I calked for a power rake and fertilizer application. When they showed up on monday was obvious that one of the crew didn't have any idea what he was doing. I could not stay and watch because i had to go back to work. When i got home..found large areas of bare dirt where it was obvious the mower they used to clean up had hit the ground. I called and left a message with Joe the owner about my concern. Two days later he had not returned my call. When i called him got a song and dance but was told someone would be out

We were referred to kozy by several neighbors who were pleased with their services . Now that we have used them a few times i can see why. The kozy employees are very thorough when they mow and trim and they get the work done in a timely fashion. We have allot of land scaping , and ours is a difficult yard to groom, but so far this season it has looked fantastic.
I have referred this company to some of my co-workers and friends and they have had good results with kozy as well.

My husband and I switched from another lawn company to Kozy about two years ago and we couldn't be happier with their services. The prices are excellent, and are exactly as we were quoted, the staff is always friendly and professional, and the owner is an absolute gentleman.

At first all was okay. But their mowers tore up the grass in my yard and they bumped a down spout and pulled the gutter away from the house. I complained and was told they would fix it, but they never did. Then came fall. I was paying $47 for cut and trim, then got a bill for 1 week of $132 and another for $105. Had no idea that was coming. Was told it was for the extra time it took to do clean up and haul away leaves and they were spending an extra hour and a half on my lawn. I was home most times when they were here and they were definitely not spending that much "extra" time

"The owner Joe Kozol decided he underbid the yard cleanup. He bid $225. The next day he wanted $425 in cash from a single mother of two. After she paid the $225 and while she was at her full-time job, 2 employees threw and dumped dirt,debris & trash all over her sidewalk, stairs, driveway, lawn and street. We have it all on video and an eye witness account. We filed a police report as well. To add insult to injury Joe Kozol drove by in his white Cadillac escalade with nebraska personalised plates KOZYLWN while we surveyed the damage."
