Crescent Builds has worked on a number of unique home additions, from colorful art studios to scenic sunrooms to cozy guest suites. When we work on any new home addition, we design and build with longevity in mind.

We contacted Crescent Builds because we had a minor flood in our basement discovered at 7AM on a Saturday morning, water dripping from the basement ceiling. Within TWO HOURS of reaching out to Ned for advice, the leak was fixed and the work to repair the ceiling had begun! Timely intervention prevented more serious damage (and a more expensive repair!).

The crew members that have been working in our home are all highly professional, polite, and pleasant to work with. Crescent Builds recently completed an addition, a back building new construction, and a whole-house remodel on our home in Shoreline.
We had a one-month overrun in the schedule, and a very minor cost overrun due to circumstances outside of Crescent Builds' control. Both issues were transparently and exhaustively communicated to us well in advance, always with several recommendations for how to mitigate the issues. We never felt blind-sided, and felt extremely fortunate that these were both such minor issues on such a major undertaking.

We have used Crescent for two projects: four years ago, a full first floor remodel/update that included a full kitchen tear out and remodel, wood burning fireplace removal and gas fireplace install, new built in bookcase, new doors, refinish and new install of wood flooring, new fixtures, tile install around the fireplace and paint. The second project, just this past 6 months, was a sunroom addition with polished concrete floors, wood paneled ceiling, accordion style glass doors that open up the space to the garden and gas fireplace. We added a full second story to our little, old (and unpredictable) house with Crescent Builds. We later had them fully repair and upgrade our deck, adding a shed and bike garage beneath. We would definitely work with them again. Communication, planning, and ability to work through problems were all top notch!

Crescent Builds has completed 2 major commercial remodels, 1 major home remodel, and too many to count small projects for us. They are extremely organized, upfront about costs and estimates (2 major projects have been under budget), very knowledgeable, great at problem solving, keep to their schedule(2 major projects finished early), and most important they do great work.

Okay I don't know what the deal is with this company. The reviews look great, but if you dig deeper into it all the people below have 1-2 friends, are missing a profile pic, or works for the company.
Here's my personal experience with this company. They were hired to complete a window installation project at the beginning of August. What was originally supposed to be a 10-day project turned into over a two-week fiasco! When was the last time you heard someone use those words about their contractor? In my experience with Crescent Builds, Todd and crew lived up those descriptions, and then some. From the minute I saw their bid on my bathroom remodel, I knew they were a cut above. The detail on the estimate was very precise, unlike the usual "Should cost around this much" bids I've received in the past that always end up blowing out the budget. The subcontractors arrived on time (which is rare), and completed the work on schedule

I had Crescent Builds construct a piece of specialty equipment for my business and I was extremely pleased with their work. The customer service I received was great, the equipment (a combination of wood and metal) was made to spec, works well and met my expectations. In all I was very, very pleased with their work and the turn around time from concept to completion. I've also been very happy to refer them to friends and colleges that have needed work on their homes or business properties. I highly recommend them.
