Had Tom out to give me a quote on a bathroom tub remodel and exterior faucet replacement. Bathroom is in the basement so concrete would need to be taken out to move the drain. He said I could do the work and they would come in afterwards. I asked if he would do it and he said he would break up the concrete but wouldn’t take it away. Said I could just “toss it in my woods somewhere.” How professional.
Turns out the exterior faucet was turned off from the basement and tub wasn’t possible due to size of bathroom. He came to give me a quote, but instead charged me a service fee of $125 for

I called Affordable Plumbing & Heating to unclog my kitchen sink. They said that they could arrive between 10 -11 am. They called around 8:45 to let me know that they were on their way and were here by 0900. Mr. Hagan was able to clear the entire line (over 70 feet) and replace the garbage disposal which had been damaged when I tried to fix the problem myself. He was very knowledgeable and courteous and had the job completed in a very reasonable time. I would highly recommend Affordable Plumbing & Heating for prompt expert service.

I recently had Tom out to add a whole house filter in my pump house and replace an outdoor faucet. Not only did he do a great job, but put the faucet up higher to allow a 5 gallon to fit under it, which I would not have thought of doing. He answered all my questions and was very efficient. I would not hesitate to have him back.

I had a good experience with Affordable Plumbing when they serviced my gas hot water heater which was shutting off every few hours. They scheduled an appointment within 20 hours of my initial call. Although they were 15 minutes late they did call to tell me they were going to be late. During the service call, they were polite and efficient. They cleaned the burner element and the heater has been working solid now for several days. They told me that my 12 yr old heater was past the normal lifespan for these heaters (I confirmed that with the manufacturer), but they didn't try to sell me a new system
