Poor customer service. (i havent even got the door installed yet). i see that is a common theme throughout the ratings. i am hoping the installation is better then their communications. Pro door seems like a high volume outfit - like costco, only without the customer service. Hoping i can upgrade this review later but so far pretty displeased. also, paid $5,000 for an 8ft door with glass windows. seems a hefty price for the treatment.

They installed a new garage door and electric opener about 5 years ago, and there was an issue/error I just discovered recently with the install. To their great credit, despite the elapsed time, I sent photos to the dispatcher and she had Matt out here within 2 days to completely fix the problem, no charge whatsoever. He also lubricated the door and demonstrated how and where to lubricate the door to keep it functioning properly. Very happy and appreciative despite the issue with the original install, and I'd be happy to do business with them again.

When I first inquired about which door I wanted with the window panels and design, they told me it'll take about 8 weeks for the door to be installed due to low supplies. That's understandable so I signed the contract and ended up waiting 12 weeks until I finally called them and got an appointment setup. The installer was very professional and quick. I'm happy with the door, but I wasn't happy when he said my window panels are delayed. He said Door Pro America would call within a couple weeks to come get the panels installed. Its been 6 weeks so I called them today and the lady who picked up said

After months delay in getting delivery of my doors, they failed to show up for two installation appointments Door Pro also didn't bother to call about a cancellation or delay, even though they confirmed my appointment on a call to them the day before. Do not I mean seriously DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I'm not sure about any other state but the NJ OFFICE IS AWFUL! COSTCO SHOULD BE ASHAMED FOR RECOMMENDING them! They were a no-show on two appointments the first time they lied and said the technician got hurt the second time they said they can't find the parts. So if the technician wasn't hurt the first time where were the parts that time? The third time after losing two full days of work they showed up hours later then they told me they AND DIDN'T HAVE THE RIGHT PARTS! 3 time is a charm! I've called Costco for the second

Called to have a repair done and was "scheduled" for 12-5. After 3:30 pm received a call saying they could not make it that day, the prior job was taking too long... I would be on for the next morning. I said I had to have the first job since I had already spent a 1/2 day waiting. Was told I would get a call between 8 - 10 am to say the technician was leaving the factory. Well 10 am comes and NO call. Called the number they called me from yesterday (in Virginia) and was told Oh the tech hit traffic... Horrible customer service for a job booked a week ago.

We had multiple problems with this company.
1. Our appointment was on Wednesday at 8-12 am. We receieved a phone call at 4:00pm Tuesday saying they are canceling our appointment because they need a more experienced technician. Shouldn't this have been determined sooner?
2.Left 2 messages for a supervisor to discuss this because I took off of work. I never received a call back.
3. Installer took almost 8 hours to install our door! He did not seem to know how to hook up automatic lift master very well.
4. At the end of the appointment the technician told us we would need to pay an electrician

Purchased 2 garage doors on 4/28 that were installed on 6/9. Salesman Chris was extremely knowledgeable and was not a hard sell. The installation date was a bit longer than the 3-4 weeks promised, but we were in no hurry. The installer was efficient and did a great job. So far the quality seems very good, the doors look great and the price was right! I would recommend using Door Pro America.

Purchased through Costco and have been pleased. Agree with another reviewer that sales pitch was a bit pressured to sign that very day but we needed the door so it wasn't a problem. They worked with us for a day that was convenient since we needed to clean out the garage and it was winter so needed to wait until good weather. When workman arrived we were skeptical since it was one man. But, he took out the old door and put in the new one very quickly and efficiently. We have only had it one day (it is not electric) but have been pleased with service so far.

Purchased through Costco . A bit slow to get the door in and was sold an additional device during the install that was not needed. Now I need service and it's been terrible. Failed to show for scheduled appointment. Was told that service tech would be be here at two different times . Finally arrived, after making a call. Was told I'd receive the estimate by end of day and I guess I should have asked what day.

The service was excellent from start to finish. The salesperson was knowledgable and presented all of the options and there was no pressure. Chris the installer was also excellent. The installation of the door and new opener was efficient and neat. He took care to make certain that all the wires were nearly tacked and that all worked fine

I talked to the rep at Costco in Bridgewater and was interested in getting their proposal for new carriage style steel doors to replace my original masonite doors that were starting to rot, and openers that were getting flakey. They had what I wanted from a manufacturer I had already chosen. Price seemed very competitive (albeit after some negotiating). They replaced all three doors and openers ahead of the schedule they had given me during the sales call, did a clean job, arrived when they said they would, hauled away the old doors, openers and tracks, and left the worksite clean.
