Sergio and team were amazing... my trees were trimmed quickly and thoroughly and they were even able to haul away a ton of extra yard clippings I had for a very reasonable additional free. I am so happy I chose them to handle our trees. We hadn't had them trimmed in several years and the team really did exactly what I asked and everything looks wonderful. We'll be using them again for sure!

We are so glad that we chose to work with Sergio and his crew. The first step in the process was to have Sergio out to give us a quote. We wanted several trees removed and stumps grinded. He put everything in separate line items so it was easy to pick and choose what we ultimately wanted to do later.
The day of the removal, the team took great care of our property as they dragged the branches out of our back yard, and they worked quickly to get the job done. We would work them again, and we'll tell any of our neighbors and friends to work with this team! Thanks so much

Initial onsite visit and proposal: great! Scheduling went smoothly. And we were able to do it via email, which is rare and a great bonus for me since I'm in and out of meetings for work all day and businesses that insist on doing everything by phone are less convenient for me. The foreman arrived on time and I got a proposal/quote within a couple of days. I signed the proposal on August 6 and asked them to go ahead and apply for the city permits for a couple of line items where that was required.
Everything went downhill after that. The

Luis and his crew did a great job removing 3 big trees in my front yard. When I got home the trees were gone, and the yard was in clean condition with no debris or branches. They left it better than when they arrived. I highly recommend Valley Tree Care Inc.

I hired Valley Tree Care as a new company to me to clear all dead branches from basically seven dead redwood trees. I had interviewed and received quotes from several companies as these trees were up a steep hill on my property and the prices ranged widely. I was so so happy with their work and efficiency as they arrived exactly as stated, worked fast and efficiently, blew everything clean before they left and then some, worked swiftly and were gone. It was perfect - just as they said it would be and I shall certainly not hesitate to call on them again for all my issues.

We've used several tree services over the past 20 years to maintain the trees on our property and now have used Valley Tree Service twice. I'm very happy with their work. Our trees are now balanced, aggressively pruned (not too much) and really look great. I appreciate Gary's consultive manner in accessing whether it makes sense to keep a tree for the long term how far to trim it given your needs. The crew is great, very hardworking and friendly and skilled at neighbor management (can charm the grumpheads). Their pricing is very competitive, not the lowest, but in the low band. Highly

After having these guys "manicure" our trees a few times as well as tree removal, I wouldn't have any one but Valley Tree do tree work in the future. Gary, Sergio and crew are a great team. Not only do they trim the trees for their health, but they take into account the whole property in making decisions on the look of the final product. They treat the trees as if it was an artist's job. Their mode of operation is completely professional and consistent. These guys do the best tree service in the Bay area. Gary is always professional, responsive and gets the job done. I used to send all my business to Area Custom Tree. Gary and Sergio (along with the rest of crew) are outstanding. We have used Valley Tree service a few times to maintain seven large Live Oaks on the property and well as to remove a massive Stone Pine overhanging the house. They show up on time, perform the job promised and leave the site clean. They are very careful to minimize any damage to bushes under the trees, and were extremely careful while trimming one of the oaks that overhung the pool. Sergio and team devised an excellent way to keep debris out of the pool.

Gary and Sergio are great. We called them on Sunday and they came the next day at 7am to remove a large 40 foot branch that had fallen overnight. They aren't necessarily the cheapest, but they are definitely super professional and know what they're doing. I think their prices are fair and reasonable. Sergio also trimmed some branches while he was here clearing the large log.

I've got to put my 2¢ in and say that Gary, Sergio, and team are some pretty great guys when it comes to removing massively huge trees with not a lot of room to work with. We had a MASSIVE Aleppo Pine (several stories tall, and about 100 years old) that was infested with cankers, and was on its way to being a major danger. The Valley Tree Care team, even with a critical piece of grinding equipment out of service, were able to get the tree down to the stump in about 2 and a half days.

We had a ton of 20 year old, 6-8' tall privacy hedges that we wanted removed (including stump grinding). Gary came out right away and gave us a really fair quote. He was a quick and clear communicator, super flexible, and able to schedule our job within a week of having contacting him. His crew did SUPERB and speedy work. They were on time, respectful, friendly, and super tidy. They even gave us a couple of pointers for how and where to best plant our new citrus trees.

The crew did a great job, methodically trimming and removing according to the scope of work. They also worked carefully and cleaned up nicely. My client really liked what we called the spider, a box lift on tracks that is narrow to get into tight spaces and expands to support a staff cutting limbs that are tall with small tree trunk size.

Following a great deal of research, I interviewed six companies for bamboo removal, two of which specialize in this messy and complicated business. Bamboo is extremely invasive and fast-growing, and can easily send roots under a house, into the foundation, or into water or sewage lines. I used Valley Tree Care to get rid of a forest of bamboo which grew in spot on my property. It was an all day job requiring a lot of men and pieces of equipment.
They were simply excellent! Sergio was the crew boss, very pleasant man who Id be happy to hire again. Valley was one of 4 firms who bid the job, their price was not quite the lowest, but I didn't feel the lowest priced company knew what they were doing !
