This team of professionals completely exceeded our expectations! From the time they came on site to the time they left they were helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and priced very fairly. They were quick and cleaned up nicely after they were done. I highly recommend North Hills Tree Service and I am sure we will will be using them again in the future.

I had four old pine trees removed. I spoke with two members of the crew. They were very helpful.
The chipper was set up near the house. I didn't notice until the next day that a significant amount of dust from the chipper had settled on window sills and trim pieces, primarily on the second floor. A leaf blower made short work of it. I'm sure they would have done the work if I had found the dust while they were here.
Overall, a good experience. Highly recommended.

North Hills Tree Service did an amazing job removing 3 trees from my property this fall. They were very professional, on-time and offered a very reasonable price that beat all other bids. The thing I appreciated the most was being able to text and send pictures of the trees and getting a timely response and estimate on the trees. I would definitely recommend this business and will be using them again for any tree services in the future.

Ryan and team have been very professional, honest and fair with their work. I have used North Hills Tree on a couple jobs and have been very satisfied each time. The most recent job was to cut down a spruce tree that was partially up-rooted and leaning into another tree. I called Ryan up and he came out the same day to drop the tree so it did not pose a risk of falling on my house or kids. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a fair and honest tree company. You will not be disappointed hence all of the positive reviews.

Ryan and his crew set the example that any person in business should follow. Ryan communicates well, does what he says he will do, and is simply an honest and good man. NHTS serviced a few of my rental properties this past spring, which included tree removals, stump grindings, and prunings. They did a great job. I will be having Ryan do work for me again for another property coming up which needs some rather large trees taken out and the lot prepped for new construction. I will gladly give him all of my tree needs for the foreseeable future - Ryan and his crew are experts!

Reasonable price (get some other estimates and you'll believe me), extremely friendly staff, and the work that is done is above and beyond. Ryan Dewey has cut down trees for us and saved other tree and plants around the trees that I thought it would have been impossible.
In conclusion, there is a reason they can get backed up for some time. they do an excellent job at a reasonable price. If you don't have an emergency that North Hills Tree Service can attend to immediately

We got a new parklike entrance to our home property in a few hours of forestry mulching. Think cut, grind, and clear overgrown brush, logs, vines and briars with a single machine chomping everything in its way and leaving smooth mulch behind. With 15 years as a landscape architect and many more as a gardener, I've had experience with a number of tree services. North Hills Tree Service is in a class by itself! We are really happy with the work!

The storm damage to our little patch of woods was pretty bad, These wonderful, professional, goodhearted men went above and beyond what was ever expected. To just say that I recommend them would be an understatement. The job was done in a fraction of the time that other companies quoted, and by the time they were done, these fine men were like family. And yes, they had the good graces to pose in the Tea House where our Little Ladies can now again play.

Had such a great experience using NHTS. Ryan came out and actually spent time walking our property with me, and gave me a ton of information that I didn’t even think to ask about. We came from a townhouse and having a house with a LOT of tree and landscape maintenance is new to us. He worked within our budget and offered a fair price. Two other companies came for quotes and the guys were here for maybe 15 minutes. The crew was SO fast and extremely professional. If you're particular on how your trees are trimmed then this is the company for you. They trimmed 4 trees in our yard. All thinned out nicely. The longer branches were cut at an angle. Most companies just do a straight cut at the end and after the leaves fall off your tree looks ridiculous.
A little bit pricier, but worth it for the attention they give.

I contacted North Hills tree service and got a quick call back and then they came to house and inspected the tree to be trimmed. I was given a fair estimate and told that they would come before the tree began to bloom. My Weeping Cherry tree was trimmed just in time and is now going to be a show stopper. THANKS Ryan and crew.

I met Ryan after he inspected the tree in our backyard. He's courteous and very professional. He advised me on the options and gave us a good plan. The price they charged was very fair. He said the earliest schedule was 3 weeks since they had a full schedule but will try to squeeze us in. His men came and cut the tree in less than a week's time! They did a good job. His men accidentally brushed up on an LED pipe on our yard but Ryan informed me right away and had it fixed. We will definitely get their services again!

I initially contacted North Hills Tree and Lawn through yelp. I got a response back pretty quickly saying that someone would call me. No one ever did, so I messaged back on yelp, and was told that the person that makes appointments was on vacation, but they would call me. When I finally get a hold of them they tell me I will get an estimate by Friday... I message them again on Saturday when I haven't gotten an estimate, and they say someone else is out of town, I will have an estimate by some other day... Long story short, I never got an estimate and contacting them was a complete waste of
