During a wind storm we had a very large branch fall on our house and deck. Got a recommendation from a friend for Perkins Tree Service and they were able to come out within a week of our tree falling. Tom was honest about what they could do and wrote up a very reasonable estimate for the work. Since this was close to Labor Day and with the storm they were backed up. Instead of having to wait a week longer they made an opening for us to get it done sooner since the tree was laying on our house. Crew showed up and got to work. Appreciated the tree stump being cut very close to the ground as well

My cat was stuck in a tree at least 50 to 75 feet up and the Perkins tree crew came out and saved the day! The tree that the one guy climbed was Absolutely gnarly not accessible by any lift or Machinery whatsoever, and on top of that it was raining everything was against them but they still took the chance for us. Definitely give them a call they know what they are doing and are by far the best out there.

During the bad microburst that occurred at Pittsburgh in early June of 2021 a large tree in the back of my house was badly damaged and ready to fall on my home. Tom Perkins was the first to show up and provided the most competitive rate to take down that tree and another one. Additionally due to the emergency of the situation he also accommodated me moving his schedule around so he could get it done within the next day. Perkins Tree Service removed a very large, old tree from our property that was very close to our house as well as another tree. Tom is exceptional. From the day we called, he came out to give us an estimate that same day. Quoted us a very reasonable price and did a phenomenal job. Took only one day to remove both trees and grind stumps. Cleaned up nicely after the job was over. Has the skill, equipment, and team to get any job done and pricing can't be beat. Would very highly recommend Tom to anyone.

We have had really bad experiences with other tree companies in the past, but we were super pleased with Perkins Tree Service. Tom was very friendly and knowledgeable, he gave us the best price quote out of several and kept us updated when weather kept delaying services. They cut down two huge trees for us (while taking care to try to protect our lawn from their equipment) and took care of a huge limb on another tree that came down two days before their arrival and wasn’t part of the original plan. We would highly recommend Tom’s crew and will definitely use his services in the future.

Tom and his team came out today to take down a chestnut tree and did a fantastic job! The tree was touching our house and was very close to the fence and they did the job without causing any damage to either. They cleaned up everything nicely and were very reasonably priced. Doing business with Perkins Tree Service was outstanding – starting with Tom’s visit to our home to see our requirements and bid the project, to performing the services. We liked his suggestions and loved his competitive bid. When our day approached, he gave us a “heads up”, and arrived in a timely manner on the day of the work. I highly recommend Perkins Tree Service to anyone looking to have trees removed. From beginning to end my experience with Perkins Tree Service was excellent. The owner, Tom, could be directly reached via phone or text which was a plus. My initial text inquiry was answered promptly and he was able to come out to give me an on-the-spot quote for the removal of 8 tall pines and their stumps. The quote was also emailed to me as well. Perkins did a fantastic job taking down our silver maple in the back. We have zero access to the yard from the road so the fence had to come out. Got both trees down in under 4 hours then came back later and grinded out both stumps. The rest of my yard was still in great shape and even saved the grass where the fence pole was. Price was the best one we received out of 5 other companies. Don't hesitate to call them. He will come over and give you free estimate and explain all work in full detail before you commit. 5 stars guys. Thanks again.
