We have over 50 years of experience in the glass business. From 1970 to 1973 worked on Chicago high rises along the Lake Shore Drive. Worked the whole area up to Milwaukee doing residential and commercial glass and mirror work. In the San Diego area we did all kinds of glass work in the beginning, even auto glass.
Heavy glass shower door is a great solution often used in contemporary bathrooms. A fair amount of space is necessary to open the shower door out to the inside. It is absolutely illegal to install a swinging shower door lacking a possibility to open out. This is a very basic safety law. We recommend this elegant 3/8 thick clear glass, since it invariably create a feeling of larger space.
This is a popular shower door configuration for glass enclosures. Here we show a door-inline panel with notch and a 90 degree return panel. In this setup, more than any other it is strongly recommended to use transparent clear glass. This clear panel design often used in smaller bathrooms where for the owner the preservation of the feeling of enough space is important.
It is increasingly popular to have only one glass panel by the shower head attached to the wall permanently with metal clamps or "U" channel. These shower glass surfaces can also be hinged on the wall and swing in and out like a door, but not closing to anything but just having an open space where people can step into their shower or bathtub.
It is a great thing to have some wall mirrors in a home! The sensation of more space and the ability to constantly being aware of one's posture and look is a good way to develop self awareness and increase the control the way of body movement. The feeling of space increased by having wall mirrors is contributing to the general well being too.

Called them to get a quote after hours expecting to get the answering machine to leave a message. The gentleman that answered asked me what time it was to which I replied 7, he then said they work 9 to 5. I said I was calling to get a quote, at which point he reiterated that they work from 9 to 5. I asked if they were working tomorrow (Saturday) he continued his previous statement by saying 9 to 5 has been the standard in business for a while now. At that point I gave up and said ok and hung up. If you're not working, why are you answering the phone? If you're busy and can't take a message, ask

Don't waste your time with them like I did. I am finishing up a top to bottom Reno of a condo and this guy wouldn't even get out of his car for a quote for shower enclosures. After waiting 45 minutes he called....parked....and said there was no parking for the job. Hmmm, how did a complete Reno of a 2bed/2bath unit get get completed? Drone delivery?

I had Best Choice Mirror & Glass Co install a wall of mirrors, and two closets with mirrored doors. This was in 1995. Everything still looks exactly the same. So that should tell you something about the quality. Can't believe someone gave them 1 star because they're mad at their answering machine, and never even used the service.

I called this company not having read the review before hand. I'm glad I did! I dealt with the owner, Emry, directly. He measured and installed a seamless two sided shower in-closure. i love it!!!! I asked him to make sure that there would be no leaks or other problems, after having another contractor do a very poor job just years before. I can say with great satisfaction that after ten months the glass is perfect. The job was done fast and for a reasonable price, too. Thank you Best Choice Mirror and Glass.
