Such a fantastic company! They installed the correct Schlage lock for my gate after a previous company installed the wrong one. They added a hood to it protect it against the elements. And they were helpful in replacing the battery when I couldn't figure it out. Super responsive and professional. Really, such a great team. I highly recommend them!

I called Austin Key Guy when I needed to program a spare car key fob. Chris showed up on time and very quickly programmed the fob and cut the spare key that fits inside the fob. The best part was his price was significantly better than the price quote I received from six other local locksmiths. I strongly recommend Austin Key Guy.

The employee arrived 15 minutes after I called them for a car lockout. Another minute later while we made small talk, he had unlocked my car and I could resume life as normal, all for a reasonable price. I needed to replace my front door lock with a smart lock so I looked at Yelp reviews and saw that AKG had high reviews. I messaged them through the app on a Sunday afternoon, not expecting a reply that day, but Tarik got back with me almost immediately. I showed him the lock I had purchased and he said that really wasn't the best one for my purposes, and he recommended another one that I could purchase on Amazon. Michael was polite and he quickly got my car unlocked. He was there within 20 minutes of me calling the office. He was able to get my car unlocked within 5 minutes, he knew exactly what to do. This has been the third time I have needed to have a vehicle unlocked, and they have been awesome. They are the only company I call for lock outs. I highly recommend them.

I had a problem with my car key after switching the case. The car would not turn on. I sent a message late last night and Tarik got back to me first thing this morning via Yelp app requesting more info. He said someone would call me at 9am.

I took my dogs for a walk this morning....the keypad lock on my door freaked out and went inoperable, and of course I didn't have a spare key outside. I called Austin Key Guy and in less than an hour, Michael was at my house and helped me and my pups get back inside. All for a more than fair price too!

I have a great girlfriend so I'm past going out, and with corona and everything I've literally been a shut in for what feels like forever.
Well, the other night the boys called me and we decided to go out, well we went to the bar, decided to keep the party going, so we went to my friends apartment and continued our good time!

So I'm a ninnycompoop and locked my friend out of her own bathroom... thank heavens for Tarik! He showed up within 10-15 minutes around noon on a Saturday. He wore a face mask and removed his shoes at the door. Super friendly and definitely knew what he was doing. Not only did he unlock the bathroom door, but he also removed the straw cleaner I shoved in there... definitely give these guys a call and do NOT try to use a straw cleaner to unlock your door yourself. Definitely worth the $75 because my friend probably would've kicked me to the streets if Tarik hadn't worked his magic

I called these guys the day after we closed on our new home to rekey 3 doors with 6 locks. They came that very day and even arrived early (after calling to make sure it was ok with me). It didn't take long and I got 4 keys after paying $85. Some friends said I paid too much but I say that quick efficient service that is hassle free is priceless.

We just purchased a new home and we need to have them re-key as the master key is missing and one door cannot be opened with any keys that the builder provided.
We called on late Friday and within 30 mins Tarik arrived. He was courteous and it took him practically 15 mins and we got 4 brand new keys. Thanks for coming in such a late notice. Keys work wonderfully.
