So, this review is way overdue, to say the least! I came across Barry and his team when my heat recovery tank (hot water) began to fail. After learning through some detailed research that the tank was eligible for warranty replacement, my saga began. Because of Covid, the company that installed it (and continues to service my furnace and supply my oil) wasn’t taking on any field work. I went on a long search for a contractor who could work with the appropriate dealer network, but no luck. Then, my oil guys suggested Barry. With no idea who he was, and no prior working relationship, I called.

They charged hundreds to repair a leaky toilet and failed to repair it (still leaks). When I called and told them, there was no apology. Instead, they wanted to charge again to fix what should have already been fixed. Obviously I’ll never hire them again and neither should you.

I have dealt with Avon Plumbing for a number of years now. I have had them repair everything from a leaky toilet to replacing two well pumps. They are FANTASTIC! I have found their pricing to be quite fair. Their service is exemplary (shout out to Tom who does their well pumps). I have been so impressed that they are now doing all of the plumbing work for my company in Farmington.

I originally chose Avon Plumbing because of their proximity to my home. After working with them I would highly recommend them. I worked with multiple people from the company and they were all kind, understanding, and easy to work with. The work was professional and done efficiently. I will definitely work with them again

Too expensive! I changed a hot water heater, and they charged me $2400! Despite the expensiveness, they didn’t even installed it correctly the first time. There were no hot water after they installed, and they didn’t even test it before they leave! No hot water in December? Are you kidding me? I was surprised about their profession. While on the phone giving my credit card info, I heard the owner telling the technician “just get out of there”, so the technician didn’t even finish writing the invoice that he started. What a awful company! Be aware, they could rip you off.
