Shorty's identified the specific condenser fan and capacitor I needed for my AC. And had them in stock! The overnight delivery worked flawlessly and an hour later my AC was back in business. Thanks for the help and attention to detail. Also, their price was lower than the other places I checked and those places did not have the fan in stock.

I had a technician come to the house and determined the draft inducer assembly needed to be replaced. The cost would be $714 and $196 for labor. I searched the part number and found Shorty's HVAC Supplies. I sent an email to Shorty's to make sure I had the correct part and to make sure there wasn't anything else I needed. I sent that on Saturday 12/21/2019, on Monday 12/23/2019 I received an email asking about the furnace product number. I sent that and I received a link to the proper parts. Had a outdoor unit compressor fan motor fail in my 19 year old Trane system during a heat wave. Had two options according to a local HVAC company that came out to take a look: Pay 1200 bucks for them to replace it as it required a GE OEM motor that was a grand alone by itself plus "other parts", or 8 grand for them to replace the entire outdoor unit.

I chose another option, do my own homework and replace the broken compressor motor myself. I found Shortys online found the motor and capacitor I needed, and then contacted them by phone to verify, which was answered by a gentleman

I do a lot of shopping online, and Shortys HVAC Supplies is the best experience I have ever had. I live in Florida. My central AC stopped working. I walk around to the compressor on the side of the house, and it is making a horrible noise and the fan on top is not spinning. I stick a bread-knife in the grill and spin the fan. It spins fine. Ten seconds on the Internet and I find a YouTube that says this is likely due to a bad motor start/run capacitor on the fan.

This is the kind of business I like to deal with. After checking their web site for a part that I needed for my furnace (draft inducer) I called to check availability. The gentleman on the other end (very pleasant, I must add) asked me about my furnace model, and said, "Let me check on this and I'll call you back." He called back within 10 minutes and said they had it in stock. I jumped in the car and drove the 25 minutes out to them. They had it waiting for me. Didn't ask for a credit card to hold it. This winter in Indiana was the hardest we had for a long time and my Heater went off in one of the coldest night, i did some online search and found out that I need to replace a part. I got 3 quotes from local HVAC repairmen who wanted to charge me $500 for a new inducer motor plus labor. After reading up on the repair, I decided I could tackle it myself if I could find the parts for a reasonable price, but no one locally would sell me the part without installation. Then, the first 2 online retailers I contacted were $300 for the parts, and they treated me like I was an unwelcome foreigner.

I Needed a heater part that a local HVAC would not sell me because they sold only to licensed contractors. So much for supporting a local business.

I found Shorty's after a Google search and decided to go with them after reading the Yelp reviews. Good decision, they shipped the part out Fex-ex the next day and I was up and running a few days later. Good thing that I live in a milder climate or I might have been forced to call a repairman for something that was a simple repair.

I think this business needs more reviews. They don't have enough reviews. But then again, not all people would want to deal with HVAC and are comfortable letting someone who is licensed handle, diagnose, and repair HVAC problems. I respect that field and business is business regardless. I think my recent business with Shorty's was one of the better experiences I've ever had with aftermarket support for something in my house. Especially considering how the business of HVAC operates. I learned a lot about HVAC during my research for a refutable distributor of Carrier HVAC parts

Excellent service and help. My furnace needed a part that could be replaced without a lot of technical expertise and shortys had the right part in my hand quickly. The breaker failed when I shut down the system to make repairs and mike answered my questions after hours and helped me track down the trouble. Not just a warehouse, knowledgeable and helpful guy. I will always look to Shortys first.
