We're Ryan and Maddy Reed, owners of LAM Tree Service. We're long-time Evergreen residents (we grew up here and have known some of our customers our whole lives) and love this gorgeous part of the state. Our goal is to keep your trees and landscape healthy, safe and beautiful so we can all continue to enjoy this special place for years to come.
At LAM Tree Service we have 4 ISA (International Society of Arboriculture) Certified Arborists and 1 ASCA consulting arborist on staff. If you have a tree problem of any kind we are available to provide an expert diagnosis. Even if there is no current problem, it is often wise to have your property checked by a certified arborist at a reasonable hourly rate.
With our specialized equipment and extensive professional training, we can safely remove trees near houses and power lines. There are many reasons to cut down a tree but it's not always an easy decision to make. Here are some of the most common problems that lead property owners to have a tree cut down.
We love what we do and we're good at it. But none of this is easy - it takes years of experience, extensive training, detailed safety briefings and protective gear, and hugely expensive specialized equipment. Do NOT try this yourself! It may be cold outside but trees still need water (hint - melting snow doesn't provide enough moisture during winter).

LAM tree service came out to remove trees on my property for fire mitigation as well as some dead trees we had around. Ryan came out and spent almost two hours walking the property and educating me on how to maintain my property to have a healthy forest. I ended up wanting to remove a few more trees once the work began and Ryan came out, gave me a very fair price for the change order and they completed all of the work in one shot. We hired Lam Tree Service to trim and treat (fertilize and pests) the largest ponderosa pines in our yard, as well as thin some of the smaller trees. Ryan is a knowledgeable arborist who took the time to explain his recommendations and help us make decisions about our landscape. His team did an impressive job. They were punctual, professional and thoroughly cleaned up all of the limbs and debris after. We will be working with them again this spring on a landscape and tree planting project.

Every once in a while you come across a company that does it right and that was my experience with LAM Tree Service. The LAM crew was onsite for some major tree removal and we were impressed with the quality of their work, the professionalism of the crew, the clean up, and most of all their technical ability to safely remove some BIG trees. The proximity and size of the trees to our house required expert care and they delivered. Money well spent.

I have hired Lam for a few jobs now and they always do an extremely good professional job. They removed a 60 foot tree from a very difficult place with tremendous skill and care. It was impressive to see their work and technique. They have also done work on a tree that is extremely important to our landscaping doing bracing work, spraying for beetles, and applying systemic pesticide and fertilizer. This took several trips and they always arrived at the scheduled time, did what was promised, and never left a mess. Scheduling can be tight with them, but I have no issue waiting a few days for the

LAM tree did a beautiful job trimming the 5 Ponderosa Pines that surround our house. Prompt service on getting a quote, reasonable rates, and excellent job on the trees. They are also supportive members of the community. I was reminded to leave this review today because we were just at their shop for their Christmas tree food drive.

From the quote to clean up, the folks at LAM Tree Service proved to be professionals in their trade. A review of the property targeted trees to remove and trees to leave behind for the health of the existing/remaining trees and privacy. I removed some of the smaller trees identified for removal and the LAM guys cleaned them up and even recut the stumps so I dont hang the lawn mower on them. The work LAM completed was done with little debris left behind leaving a clean yard with little to no branches so the kids could run around immediately in the fresh open yard. These guys did an outstanding job

From quote to finish this company has been fantastic. We had a very large, dead Douglas Fir that was threatening to fall on the house, and these guys came in and took it down with amazing professionalism. The Arborists really know their jobs and make a hard job look easy because they know what they are doing. Wonderful guys to work with and I will definitely call them again if needed.

I am very please with the sizable job Lam Tree just completed for us. They have been maintaining our trees and small defensible space for years so when our insurance company insisted we much more significantly mitigate our property (to 30 feet cleared around the house and thinned to 10 feet to 100 feet from the house), we called Lam Tree first. They came out to bid when they said they would - very shortly after my call - sent me a quote two days later, and were completely transparent about initiating and scheduling the work. Pricing was reasonable, we discussed scheduling, I said I was in no rush

Terrible customer service, rude and uncaring. Estimate very misleading, was billed for twice the amount I thought I was agreeing to. When I asked for a discount and/or extra time to pay for the additional amount I was treated rudely and charged even more for late fees and financing. What a disappointment. Too many other tree services available than to settle for this!

I have used Lam Tree Service for many years and continue to find them pleasant to work with and highly professional. They do regular root feeds and spray for pests. The result is healthy trees and no disease. Ryan came over today to give me an estimate on tree trimming and he offered excellent (and free) advice on caring for a sick Aspen and other issues. I also praise Lam Tree for supporting local sports teams (men's softball, girls' sports) and being part of the Evergreen and Conifer community.

My review is based on customer service alone. Ryan (owner) came out to provide me a bid for tree removal and was very nice and professional. We spent some time looking at a particular tree and decided not to include it in the bid but we would do some trimming. Two days later (Wednesday) I left a message for Lam that I would like to hire them but we needed the cost to add the tree we left out of the bid. No call back. I recently ordered two cords of firewood from Lam Tree Service in Evergreen, CO. We were shorted by more than 1/4 of a cord. My husband telephoned Lam's and the office person was exceptionally nice and helpful. We told her to have Lam's stop by and see the stacked firewood. They never did. Instead we received a nasty telephone call from Mike of Lam's stating they had been delivering firewood and there was no way they would have shorted us the amount stated. He was extremely accusatory, which I found extremely rude. We did measure the firewood before making the telephone call
