Interior design, home organizing, and color consultation for busy moms and families in Seattle. I know you have your hands full. You need more ease, order, and simplicity but you still want (and frankly deserve) grown-up spaces that look and feel good. I get it. Mix and match my services. My goal is to help you love your home, so let's do whatever it takes to get there.
For one thing, my clients say that working with me is more fun and less expensive than couples counseling. Make smart remodel decisions. From selecting doorknobs to reviewing contractor plans, I'll help ensure your remodel makes sense for the way you live. Prepare your home for a new baby. Whether you need to clear out or create, we'll set up easy, cuddle-worthy spaces that feel good for the whole family.
48-hour notice is required for cancellations in order to allow other clients to take advantage of open appointments. When possible, I will attempt to accommodate a moved appointment with less notice, but if the appointment cannot be moved to a different slot in the same week, this will count as a canceled appointment.
The answer is sort of. I will source furniture, accessories, or materials and present you with options for new purchases, but I won't actually buy them for you. While the majority of my clients do have little ones at home, I love working with anyone who wants to fall back in love with their home. I totally understand.
Probably the most important thing you should know about me is that I absolutely love what I do. I help busy families reclaim space and style in their homes, and that makes me wildly happy. Sure, a design degree helped me get here, but the real training has come from my twin boys. I, too, get tired of tripping over Legos.

Sara arrived on time, spent a bit of time understanding how we live in our home, as well as any areas we felt needed improvement. Then she made color suggestions - which turned out to be absolutely amazing! The change is terrific, and even better than we hoped.

Sara is incredibly talented. After two hours in my home, she had so many wonderful ideas to utilize the things I already have, to turn my mess and chaos into an organized and orderly. She is personable, and non-judgemental, and understands what it's like to try to get organized with children. She offers helpful tips on how to engage kids to take responsibility and have fun getting organized themselves. I cannot recommend Sara highly enough. She's amazing!

Sara helped me paint, refloor, and refurnish my house after my ex took all the furniture. It looks better than it ever did! She was sensitive to my budget constraints and helped me solve many organization issues I had. Highly recommend. My only complaint is that she's so good, it can be hard to schedule her -- she tends to book up quickly. But she's so great it's worth the wait.

I have asked for Sara's advice at least 4 times and highly recommend her. She is a wealth of knowledge, has great taste and is very budget oriented. Some of the things I have asked her to help me with are toy organization, picking furniture and carpet for a family room, picking our dining room chairs and counter stools, choosing side tables and a chair in our living room, choosing fabric for a chair, Flor tile design for my son's room, placing picture frames and mirrors, placing frames and knock knacks on shelves, etc. She also knows exactly which businesses to use depending on your needs.

Working with Sara over the last year and a half has been a great experience. Sara has helped our family transition our home from toddler world to tween/teen world, resulting in a wonderful place to live and entertain. We needed help blending heirloom furniture into our casual dining room and living room. Within minutes she made suggestions I would never have thought of. She helped my kids transition their rooms and bathroom from "little kid" to "big kid" decor. She takes the overwhelming choices of fabric, paint, furniture etc... and makes it fun. Highly recommend!

Sara indeed has a gift for clean, tidy, and fresh design. I feel so much better about myself after she's helped me repaint, reorganize, and add new functional but stylish accessories. Besides that she's just a delight to work with - always cheerful, positive and extremely resourceful, which I find very encouraging and helpful, as I don't feel confident in my abilities in this area. I have worked with Sara a few times over the last 4 years. I initially hired her to help me select paint colors and furniture when we moved into a new (very old) house in 2013. I know very little about home decor and was overwhelmed. Sara did not impose her opinions on me, but helped me navigate through the options and enabled me to find my own style and preferences.
