All openers sold and installed by Expert Doors Garage Door Company are compliant with SB-969. In short, any garage door openers replaced, must be replaced with a battery backup capable unit. Additionally, if you're replacing a garage door and you do not have a compliant opener, you are required to replace your opener as well.

I highly recommend this company for garage door replacement for several reasons. They came out to my house to measure and check my garage door before quoting me, then sent an official quote via email. One of the other companies didn’t see my garage and blindly quoted me over the phone. Expert garage was the lower at quote by a decent amount. They made sure I was able to get the garage and features I wanted, I wasn’t rushed and they didn’t try to up-sell me. Their turn-around was really quick and they showed up on time. Expert Doors Garage Door Company lives up to its name. Andriy provided expert service throughout the project. His price was the most competitive of five quotes. We replaced our two front garage doors and insulated our third garage door. The insulation work reduced the temperature of our upstairs room by 2 degrees!
