Services
In 1994, Scott Gage packed his tree climbing gear, hooked up his stump grinder, and set out for the Last Frontier. An avid outdoorsman, he had dreamed of Alaska since he was a kid. Arriving with 300 bucks in his pocket, he started looking for dead trees and stumps, knocking on doors to get work. By giving good prices and taking pride in workmanship, business took off!
Through research, technology, and education, the International Society of Arboriculture promotes the professional practice of arboriculture and fosters a greater worldwide awareness of the benefits of trees. An arborist by definition is an individual who is trained in the art and science of planting, caring for, and maintaining individual trees.
In this section, we want to explain our pricing, including how we compare with our competitors, and offer a few examples of prices. This will not only help us serve you better but may give you an idea of what your job might cost. We understand that some people just aren't ready for an on-site estimate but need an approximate price so they can plan ahead or make other decisions.
Gage Tree Service employs talented, hard-working professionals, committed to upholding our Follow Through Promise and improving themselves and the environment around them. If you think you might be a good fit for our team, please complete our online employment interest form. We also accept resumes dropped off at either our Wasilla or Anchorage locations.
Sure, you want the trees gone, but more importantly, you want it done without damage to your property and without anybody getting hurt. And you don't want to pay more than it's worth. Why use a crane? There simply isn't a neater, cleaner, more cost-effective or careful way to remove a tree. For removal jobs of about $500 or more (provided we have the necessary access), you can bet you'll get the crane.

Today was the 2nd time we have used Gage. The first time was to remove a dozen dead trees and today to clear all brush and stumps. Their crews are the best I have seen. Professional, efficient, friendly and thorough. Their pricing is fair and reasonable. Anyone needing tree and yard services could not do better than Gage!
