At Cool Works, we work to keep you as a customer with our exceptional performance, not because of a contract. We keep our prices low all of the time, rather than adjusting our rates through special deals some of the time. We are owned and operated by an actual technician working in the field connecting in person with customer needs.
Jim is a Marine Corp. veteran, and has worked since 2005, as a NATE certified HVAC service technician. Jim has worked for both small independent A/C companies to large corporations, working on both residential service and repair as well as new construction, working from the ground up. Jim isn't a manager who stays in the office, but actively works in the field and is current on the newest A/C systems and technology.
All repairs are pre-approved by you so there are no surprises when your technician hands you the bill. We follow up with reminder emails and our service technicians will notify you by text message when they are on their way to your scheduled appointment.

Assigned by my warranty company (AHS) and for the 1st time ever was really impressed with the professionalism and respect from this company. I've used AHS for over 20 years (different homes) and while they get the job done its usually by utilizing companies that aren't even from the local area so travel and arrival times are always out of scope. Cool Works acknowledged my work order the same day, appointment the next morning and even sent a message and phone call that they were on their way - arriving on time. System diagnostic completed and no extra up-sale techniques used that we've all seen

Great job, quick and knowledgeable! And while I would not recommend American Home Shield this was a warranty job from AHS so if he tells you something isn't covered, it's on AHS not him like he explains in his responses so the 1 star reviews are all as a result of AHS. Thanks for getting our AC back working from a legitimate issue!

Amazing, Fast prompt emergency service. The ,needed part was ordered and a temporary part was installed to get us through while waiting for the ordered parts. Jim saved the day and my daughters birthday party by getting our air back on ASAP. Thank You.

This company refused to answer my calls after repeatedly calling and texting. I tried to go through American Home shield and they sent him out. He reported to them that my 15 year old ac part was not normal wear and tear when it Definitely was . I just bought this home and now am left with no air conditioning. Jim never returned my calls or texts to follow up on anything after numerous calls . So I called American home shield and they denied my claim based on his false notes.
Being a Real Estate Broker am I floored with the lack of professionalism and service.

Jim Hoffman, the owner/operator is honest, reliable and a man of his word.
Scheduling is easy and efficient. He will not try to sell you something you do not need. You will be glad you picked him! Don't make the mistake of calling someone else. Get it done right the first time!

Cool Works was fabulous. I used them through a home warranty company but will continue to call them first from now on. Jim was knowledgeable, professional, and took care of my issue in the simplest way possible. I found him to be refreshingly honest where I've had so many AC companies who have not always been as straight forward as they could have been. Very happy with this service.
