Whether updating a room or implementing all aspects of a new or remodeled home or office, she approaches each project with fresh energy and creative thinking.
This original 1913 historically designated craftsman home needed a bathroom that met the many needs of the current owners. They requested a walk - in shower and closet, a freestanding bathtub (the only one in the house)and design features of the period. By expanding into two adjacent closets and using restored transom windows and doors we were able to meet their requests and create a beautiful, spacious and efficient bathroom.
And AFTER: We raised the ceiling heights to draw attention to the dramatic entryway, enhanced the Spanish style with arches and incorporated unique finishes throughout. Write a list of areas you want to change with your goals for each space (i.e., larger kitchen, more counter space, more storage, bigger closet, better lighting).
Projects large and small require meticulous attention to detail. Can you walk into a dark house and find a light switch right away? Can you bring the groceries to the kitchen with ease? It's my job to provide solutions that work - incorporating energy efficient design, comfort and practicality. Fabric selections that make sense: fabrics need to function first, with considerations for pets, natural light, and intensity of use.

I create design solutions that help make your home safe, accessible, comfortable and beautiful, with careful consideration of the changing abilities that come with advancing age.
