Lots of delays and challenges working with Millwood Furnishings. After waiting 3 months to finally get our wood mantle installed it continued to twist for 6 months after install because the wood wasn't treated properly in the first place. They finally came back out and uninstalled it, re-milled the wood and reinstalled. The owner seemed annoyed with us throughout the issues he and his team created. Unprofessional and unreliable.

Last week I brought a bunch of relcaimed redwood 2x4 planks from an old deck to see if they could salvage them for new projects; I honestly can't believe how good they looked after being milled down to bare wood again. Mike and Saskia were extremely friendly and helpful in talking out the details, had everything done earlier than promised (the next day!), and the total cost of having them milled was actually cheaper than if I had bought brand new planks at Home Depot.
