Our Interior Designers welcome home design projects of all sizes including kitchen and bath remodels, furnishings and decor, and on-site styling. Schedule a complimentary 30 minute Meet & Greet video conference so we can hear more about your interior design project.
Our interior and exterior Seattle paint color consultant takes the guesswork out of finding paint colors that look perfect morning, noon and night. Appointments take place at your Seattle or West Seattle home and include a selection of 1-3 shades per color requested. The consult fee of $250 includes a write-up of recommended Benjamin Moore colors and sheens, which you can use to purchase samples and finalize your colors before painting.
Please Note: Our Paint Color Consultations & Interior Design Consultations take place at your home. We take the safety of our clients and of ourselves very seriously. During our consults, we will maintain distance, avoid all touching, wear masks, and sanitize before and after visits. It's very important that you cancel your booking if you are feeling unwell.
The Phinery Seattle fabric store and workroom creates custom pillows, draperies, chair & bench seat cushions and linens. Adding custom textiles to your home is a great way to add personality and warmth to your space. We make pillows, bench seat cushions, dining chair pads, dining chair cushions (the ones that can be removed from the chair), draperies, table runners, place settings, and specialty linens.

I love their baskets, pillows, vases, etc. The owner clearly has very good taste in housewares. I don't find the service when you enter the store to be exceptional (you are often ignored) but when you do ask for help, they are willing and will order things for you and follow up. I have bought several pillows, a tray, and several baskets from this business.

We worked with Becky for our basement renovation project and I can't praise her enough. She has such great eye for design and color. All the suggestions she offered, made a huge difference to the whole project. The whole reno was very overwhelming but she made it easy with her design suggestions and sourcing of material which saved us tons of time, money and effort. I can't thank her enough and would highly recommend her for any house reno or design.

Repeat customer! First of all, please know they do EXTERIOR house paint recommendations too, not just interiors. We knew we wanted to paint the exterior of our house blue, but quickly realized there are a ton of different shades and tones, and had no idea how to pick one - Rebecca came for a one-hour consultation and made it all very easy. She had beautiful color recommendations (including a complimentary door color) and had all the info about paint brands, paint types, etc. and tons of practical tips I would have never thought of (i.e. Why not update the house numbers too? We just wandered in here spontaneously earlier today, after a less-than-great private aerial silks lesson at Versatile Arts, which is next door to this cute shop.
It's a beautifully-decorated shop, and the customer service lady (I didn't get her name) was super friendly and very welcoming to my husband and I.
We didn't need any interior design services at this time, but we had an uplifting browse, and we bought a couple of nice-smelling candles, along with a wick-trimmer.
Stopping in to this lovely little shop made our day better.

Becky made beautiful designs for our new home and helped with some small space challenges we have. She took inspiration from a Pinterest board of things we like and made a design we really love that fits our taste. She made sure the furniture she suggested would fit well in our house. She also made sure we could fit in items we already owned and wanted to keep. I got to take home samples to see how they looked in our home. She is also very quick to respond to questions. Overall a wonderful experience :)

Discovering The Phinery's website was a dream come true for me. Painters were coming to paint my house and I needed some quick guidance about paint color, had not found the right decorator for me yet. I searched The Phinery's webpage under services and found exactly what I needed, a one-hour flat fee service appointment to assist me with paint color selections. I made the appointment online selecting a date and time that would work for me. Three days later Rebecca showed up to my condo to assist me with color selections. Becky helped select pinch-pleat drapery panels for my dining room and living room. This is a project that I had been wanting to do for 5 years and was really struggling with the decision making process. Becky brought samples, helped with colors and provided installation. I am so happy with the new look! In addition, I used her design services to chose custom pillows, upholstery for a bench, and also to select a new sofa. Overall, I highly recommend Becky's design services and the new store on Greenwood is gorgeous!

If you are planning to paint or repaint your home, the Phinery offers the best service! I had no idea that a color consultation was a thing. It is and so we met Rebecca from the Phinery. She came to our home with a huge book of paint colors. I told her the color we planned on painting and we held it up to the wall. Then Rebecca pulled some similar colors and we held each of them to our walls and trim. Such a contrast! We finally narrowed our colors down to 3. Rebecca sent us an email with all 3 colors listed and we are painting our walls (near the trim and in different lighting) so that

We asked the Phinery to help us pick colors for our condo. Rebecca came to our home and we looked at colors in the different lights. She was wonderful! Thanks to Rebecca, we are using a similar but different color (from the one we had originally chosen) that will be perfect for us. This is a fantastic thing to do if you are considering repainting your home. It will keep you from having to repaint over and over. The $150 will save you thousands and give you peace of mind. That is quite a deal, don't you think?

I have so much fun working with Becky! I had some ideas about how to decorate my first home, but felt lost on getting started and was intimidated about working with a designer. I happily and effectively worked with Becky on two significant projects. The first was focused on refreshing my living spaces while keeping some of core furniture pieces; she was able to make the living area of my house feel brand new while keeping some of the core. The second project was a significant build and design with 2 new bathrooms and bedroom, she was masterful in leading decision-making that was both complimentary to my style and yet allowing each room stand alone as a unique space.
